Subject: teaming up to spread lies: ADL and Yad Vashem
ADL, Shoah Foundation and Yad Vashem Join To Create Innovative Classroom Project
New York, NY, February 10, 2005 ... The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the Shoah Foundation and Yad Vashem today announced a partnership that will promote Holocaust studies as well as bring innovative anti-bias education to American classrooms.
The multi-media educational product, now in development, will combine the pedagogical experience of all three organizations and will incorporate the historical expertise of Yad Vashem, the national outreach network of the Anti-Defamation League, and the unmatched visual history resources of the Shoah Foundation. Designed to create a multi-layered, engaging learning experience for American secondary school students, this collaboration aims to provide instruction on the history of the Holocaust within the context of contemporary issues of cultural diversity, intolerance, and genocide.
A written curriculum which meets the national standards of teachers' associations, will serve as the framework for the project. Every lesson will also include visual history testimonies of Holocaust survivors and other witnesses, and the entire undertaking will generate new methods for integrating video into the classroom. First-person testimony provides a unique and current format for learning about the past. Combined with rare archival materials, this video will provide an educational experience for studies.
The three partner organizations are each leaders in different aspects of Holocaust and anti-bias education. Their combined resources will broaden and deepen the potential impact and reach of this product, which will be an unprecedented addition to the tools available to teachers and students for the study of the Holocaust, and its relationship to contemporary culture.
Businessman and hi-tech entrepreneur Yossie Hollander is supporting this project. The as-yet-unnamed product is slated to be available to educators in the fall of 2005. An official launch will be held in July, and advance copies of the product will be available for review at that time.

"Holocaust studies"--v8935
I've lost count of how many of these brain laundry sessions have been promoted in the past by the ADL.

Clark University now offers a PhD in Holocaust Studies. Given that our entire economy is being boxed up and sent to Asia, a PhD in Holocaust probably offers a more lucrative career opportunity than a PhD in electrical engineering. I'm trying to talk my son out of biotech.

The only way to fail a course in PHD in holocaust studies is to say that there were only 5'999,999 dead jews and not 6'000,000.....but if you say that there were 6'000,001 then you get extra points.

Here's a story about a New Zealand historian who wrote a masters thesis that "challenged conventional views" of the Holocaust®: LINK. He became the target of a slime campaign in 1999 and has been grovelling for forgiveness ever since. An exerpt:
Despite having apologised, admitted his mistakes, and surviving an inquiry which considered stripping him of his masters degree, Dr Hayward remains vilified in the academic community. He admits his thesis choice, which "ruined my life", was foolish and too ambitious for a masters student. "I could have had better advice from the history department."
Better advice indeed! "It's six million, me boy. Though the number of Holocaust® SurvivorsTM increases every year, you don't subtract from six million."
