It's not so much the Super Bowl is a billion-dollar extravaganza (everybody knows that already), but it's also a reflection of the PC culture that America rolls herself in. Let's see what goodies were on hand for SB XXXIX:

--Musical group Black Eyed Peas singing some ditty about "Father-help-us-save-the-world-from-hate-and-discrimination-we-are-all-one-big-happy-family". Then at the end, of the singers dedicates the SB, or their performance, or whatever, to the victims of that little disaster out in Southeast Asia.

--Tribute to overrated "genius" Ray Charles results in singer Alicia Keys and the Florida school for the Deaf and Blind singing "America, The Beautiful". Okay, it was much more tolerable than Charles' bastardization of the song, but by now I'm rolling my eyes.

--A tribute to the so-called "Greatest" Generation with actor Michael Douglas. He announced it was the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. And you thought he would say the "liberation of Auschwitz"... Then came all of the veterans, including the colored Tuskeegee Airmen, all fighting to defend democracy and that freedom that America loves to brag about.

--Another moment of respect for the Southeast Asian casualties. I have no idea if the SB had more than one moment of respect for casualties of Hurricane Andrew, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Twin Towers attacks, the victims of OJ Simpson, Jesse Dirkshing....

--The Commercials. Ah, the commercials. I observed the number of commercials where White males were made to be the human oaf, stooge, and bumbling idiot and found too many to list here. I also watched how a number of these commercials were strategically designed to make all-White casts look foolish. The McDonalds commercials where the White men found "discoveries" in their food took the cake. One finds a freiheit fry and says it looks like Abraham Lincoln; in another spot a man sees a Chicken McNugget and it looks like Benjamin Franklin. The very end of these commercials finds them sitting on the sofa with their broodish chips-on-their-shoulders distaff others telling them to behave. Zzzzzzz.....

--Budweiser commercials. Like the William Morris Company, a tobacco manufacturer who tells veiwers of their commercials not to smoke tobacco, Budweiser maintains its status of being State Nanny #1 by telling us to drink "responsibly" and do what big, fat, tub o' dark chocolate Cedric the Entertainer does: be a "designated driver". Another gem of a commercial they managed to churn out is a scenario at the airport where the people are withering away in their self-misery when members of the defenders-of-freedom come trotting into the terminal and everyone begins to clap and cheer. You will see more female and non-White faces on the screen than...those ones, the ones "democratic" America wants to anihilate from the face of the earth. Another Busweiser commercial shows us the p.c. Chairman of Bud showing us via photos how multiculti and inclusive the Bud brewmeister is and slipping that obligatory "support-the-men-and-wimmin-of-the-military-in-their-drive-to-promote-freedom-democracy-multiculturalism-diversity-oneness-togetherness-we're-all-one-big-happy-family" cliche.

Good news was the SB didn't drag on forever. By the way, the black QB in the game didn't win.

Hmmm, I missed the superbowl. I was outside watching grass grow instead... but being winter, the grass didn't seem to make much progress. At least I didn't have to tolerate any PC insults.

I was asleep during the entirety of the Super Bowl, which probably makes it the proudest nap of my life. I was going to go see "The Merchant of Venice," not merely for its anti-Semitic themes, but because somehow, going to see Shakespeare struck me as a robust protest against the mediocre, consumerist idiocy that is embodied by the "Super" Bowl. But I was tired. My nap, however, may have been a more effective protest; people at work seemed visibly shocked when the subject was discussed.

Kevin, I did exactly what you thought of doing....we went to see Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice" after church, and it was an excellent way to spend a late Super Bowl Sunday afternoon. The movie was fantastic.

When we came home, I checked in on the Superbowl and I saw a Subway (I think) commercial where a cop car comes up on another car parked in a secluded area with fogged-up windows. The cops tap the window and it's two White "trailer trash" guys eating hot wedges listening to some 70's love song. So ridiculously anti-White, I changed channels and watched a PBS special on Fidel Castro. I couldn't care less who won the game.

I heard Paul McCartney was pretty good at halftime though.

Gee, I avoided the Roman circus beforehand and just watched the game itself. Maybe it's me, but I thought it was a great game. McCartney at halftime was garishly festooned with all the high-tech sunshine patriotism you'd expect, but he himself was in fine form; it was certainly the best halftime show since gay Satanists began choreographing it exclusively starting 15 or so years ago.

It was tied at the end of every quarter but the last one; another typically New England performance of everybody contributes, nobody dominates.

There was even one commercial I was shocked they let air: the white guy in the office surrounded by monkeys in man-pants! I can't believe Jesse and Al and some of our other August Burrheads let such a potent metaphor for what diversity truly means squeak past Security and into the massmind.

I can't believe so many people(including many of my friends) get so excited about this crap. And it sounds like all the typically politically correct performances added a nice touch. Paul McCartney(sp) might not have been too bad, unless he also sang about saving the world or something.
McCartney at halftime was garishly festooned with all the high-tech sunshine patriotism you'd expect, but he himself was in fine form
I have to agree, it sounded more like mid-60s McCartney, before doing silly things like Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Rocky Raccoon. His singing was great, I didn't think he had much of a voice left these days.
watched a PBS special on Fidel Castro.
I saw that last week, it wasn't bad.

It's quite amazing that Fidel Castro has lasted so long in power while being an unrepentant instigator of worldwide communist thuggery. However, if Cuba sat upon a huge bed of oil, Castro would've been taken out decades ago by the imperialist hegemon USA.

You see, you can't win. You either get food rations or you get the SuperBowl.

Well Metal they just found oil at two different places in Cuba and while it wasent "huge" find it should last for at least 10 to 12 years, better than nothing.

And as far as the US "take out Cuba" I don't think so, at this time the US is having a hell of a time holding anything in Iraq and Iraq is only sand but Cuba has a lot of mountains and Castro has been getting ready for the US for the past 40 years.
Good news was the SB didn't drag on forever. By the way, the black QB in the game didn't win.
Yeah, I didn't even clue in to the commercials really. But the much hyped Donovan McNabb, who Rush seemed to have made such a big mistake criticizing, really played consistently bad the whole game. And stupidly too. The announcers just couldn't believe it when he refused to go to a hurry up offense at the end, even calling his teammates back into the huddle.

Course he finally got a touchdown cause of a mistake by the back NE defensive coordinator. But overall he pretty much lost the game by himself IMO.

So then how come Castro and his compadres haven't performed "Arriba! Arriba! Arriba!" yet?

New England's Jewish-owned football team beat "our" Jewish-owned football team. Yes, I know that the purpose of professional football is to give white men something safe to talk about. But my eldest son has become interested in it. As this is probably the last year he'll live at home, I enjoyed watching the Eagles with him every Sunday. I'll stop watching when he moves away.

I have tried to educate my son about politics without being too strident. Some of it has surely sunk in, and will become a part of his belief system when he's older. But for now, he derives a great deal of civic pride from the Eagles and the (Jewish-owned) Flyers. This pride manifests itself in the funniest ways.

For example, my son and I were watching the news together last year when the story broke that Philadelphia-based Comcast would attempt a hostile takeover of Disney. My son became excited, and roared his approval. I looked at him and said: "Jewish-owned Comcast wants to acquire Jewish-operated Disney. Why do you care if Comcast wins?" His answer? "Because they're the home Jews. Go Comcast!"

The image of two white men sitting on the couch watching football on a Sunday afternoon neatly captures what nationalists say is the problem with white men. But one of those men won't be in this house next year. The 2004 season gave me joy that had nothing to do with football.

Robbie? you are to smart for me because I don't know what you mean by "Arriba Arriba Arriba", could you please simplify your very intelligent question in such a manner that I will be able to understand it and therefore respond to it?

With a little fine tuning all should be fine, as I'd venture to say that "home Jews" is unlikely to enter the lexicon of many of your son's contemporaries. That is, without a little positive programing.

I have more and more misgivings about professional sports, and certain features of the Eagles' situation in particular, but I understand your sentiments and can't help but think of my father's reaction this Christmas to a gift he received: a chronicle of the '64 Phillies. These things can coincide with very personal attachments and reminiscences.

I wanted the Pats to win because they had the white quarterback. That was pretty much the extent of my interest and involvement in the Super Bowl. I did watch some of the second half. Ever since the Oilers left Houston years ago I haven't cared much for pro footbal or pro sports in general. I much prefer Texas High School football.

Me too, and so should've every White man.

My interest in professional sports is basically limited to rooting for different White players throughout the various leagues. To me, that's all that matters now.
