Assault, robbery of White boy by pack of black teens may be hate crime
Police were searching for four black teens who assaulted and robbed a 14-year-old white boy of a CD in the northern section of the city two days ago. "It may be a hate crime," said police Capt. Patrick McMahon, commander of the Fourth Precinct. One member of the group used a derogatory term to describe white people before the four knocked the boy to the ground. He was punched repeatedly in the head and injured his wrists when he fell. He told police he was walking at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday when the four surrounded him

Even though it does not seem as though there is any dispute that an anti-White epithet was used by one of the Blacks, it may be a hate crime...:glare:

Who do they think they are kidding? This will never be prosecuted as a hate crime. Blacks don't commit hate crimes, only white people do. If this would have been a nigger attacked by whites, who used a "deragatory term", it would be getting non-stop play on the news. But as usual, a white guy beaten by niggers is met with silence.

The good old double standard. Whites-always evil, minorities-always "misunderstood, not capable of "hate" crimes, persecuted, blah, blah,blah...

(Florence-AP) Feb. 3, 2005 - A Hartsville man says two robbers took his money, then dragged him behind a truck last weekend.
Darlington County Sheriff's Lieutenant Robin Bryant says the 26-year-old victim told deputies he was getting a drink at a store when the two men came up and demanded money.
Authorities say the victim told them he was beaten and taken to a field where the suspects chained him to his own pickup truck.
Deputies say the victim was dragged until he could free himself and run away. Bryant says he suffered cuts and abrasions but is expected to fully recover.
The victim, who is white, told officers the men used racial slurs as they chained him to the truck. But, Bryant said he does not think at this point the crime was racially motivated because the men were first just interested in robbing the victim.
