For those so interested, former Chief Justice Roy Moore gave a speech on this topic broadcast in two parts on Dr. D. James Kennedy's 'Truths that Transform' radio program.

Public use of "god", unless it is is pro-forma, is no more than public display of the user's penis, and should be treated as such. Church and bathroom are the proper contexts for their display, respectively. "Hanging judge" Moore, from Fallujah's bridge. Yeah!

This don't sound like something they learned you over in Waco, TA. Maybe you could help me get my mind around what you're saying here. When it comes to governing law, 'God' can only be invoked in a perfunctory manner, if at all? Or in other words, maybe we should mention Him on some level, but not really let Him get in the way of our further deliberations? I'm interested to know how you think something like that can work in real-life and maybe an example or two.
