Do the math. Estimates are that Bush has spent-- or earmarked for spending-- around $250,000,000,000 (250 billion dollars) on his Iraq war and rebuilding. This additional $80 billion requested ups the total spent on Iraq to around $300 billion (figuring the other 30 billion goes to Afghanistan and other global escapades). There are, according to the U.S. Census Bureau population clock around 295,000,000+ Americans. This means every single man, woman, and child in the U.S. is paying, so far, $1016+ for this Iraq war. Assuming 60% of this number pay taxes (minus children, illegals, others) I figured it would be roughly around $1700.
Limbaugh and all the GOPers were giddy over getting back $300 and said this would stimulate the economy by giving people more of their money to spend, etc. If, according to Limbaugh, Hannity, and the Fox News Channel, this $300 would turn the economy around, what, dare I posit, will it do to the economy to have six times this amount taken from them??!!!

The war is paid for by Bush's credit card. The taxpayers will pay later, with billions in interest.

Pay back later with what? by that time the US economy will be eating dirt with almost no one working.
I am glad as hell that I no longer pay taxes.

Bush is writing checks with his mouth that some folks will wind up paying for with their lives and limbs.
