Yesterday it was Anne Coulter, nutcase, expunging liberals. Today itââ¬â¢s Condi, aka Dr. Rice, taking tough questions before assuming the role of Secretary of State. Aunt Jemima following Uncle Tom as latchkey lackey, with Jewish supremacist Michael Chertoff heading up ââ¬ÅHomeland Securityââ¬Â. A joke, you say? Just kidding?
No. On the square. And not just: on the cube, as well.
Adapting geometry to sign-use, in communication in general there are: [B]- points --single S* - first dimension -- names, objects predicated of - lines --(sentences, statements), squares (arguments= positions), - cubes --positions developed by argument projected as reality, in 3-dimensional space. - Solids ââ¬â cubes filled with remembered, lived experience.[/B]
Points, starting places in conversation, are ââ¬Ëmovedââ¬â¢ to make lines, in the analogy. Adding a predicate-term [B]S*2[/B] to a subject-term, [B]S*1[/B] makes the sentence [B]S*1 is S*2,[/B], the common form of all basic units of true or false discourse.
This ââ¬Ëlineââ¬â¢, for example ââ¬Åthe wall is 8ââ¬â¢ in heightââ¬Â, composed of the subject term preceding the predicate, with ââ¬Åisââ¬Â linking the two, is an analogue of the act of [B]a. [/B] pointing to an object, designated as the subject of reference in the presence of another person; and [B]b. [/B] asserting ââ¬Å(that) is (8ââ¬â¢ in height)---ââ¬Å of the object referred to (referent). In reality, as inclusive container of everything existing, what appears as the written line, in tokenspace* as the distinction between subject and predicate, is the analogue of the acts of referring to an object and asserting something of it, in the presence of other persons, which takes place in experience in an entirely different way. The duality of the sentence models the duality of elements in the act. The transition from subject to predicate models the transition from object of reference to what is asserted of it. The verb ââ¬Åisââ¬Â carries the reference-to element in the ââ¬Ëverbalââ¬â¢ situation -- when the two components are simultaneous -- over to the conjunctive link between subject and predicate.
The particle ââ¬Åisââ¬Â can thus be taken as a kind of connecting ââ¬Åhingeââ¬Â, shuttled back and forth between written lines and actual occasions in the use of signs to communicate.
A very simple way of defining truth and falsehood presents itself. If [B]S*1[/B] , in sentence [B]S*3[/B] (abbreviating ââ¬Å[B]S*1 is S*2[/B]ââ¬Â) correlates to object O in a situation of actual reference, e.g., the wall; and S* corresponds to its measured height, S*3 will be called ââ¬Åtrueââ¬Â. If the subject term corresponds, but the predicate not, the sentence will be false. If the subject term does not correspond, the line is neither true nor false: it lacks the qualification for truth OR falsehood, namely, something for the predicate to be true or false of.
The ââ¬Åisââ¬Â of the sentence, on this way of defining truth and falsehood, is like the ââ¬Åbendââ¬Â in dimensions of experience, tracing from perception to speech -- even though this takes place simultaneously as we talk. Perceiving is one thing; talking is another. When brought together, as actually occurs and imagined here, they belong to an experience heretofore lacking a ground of transcendental, apriori unity. That is in Kantian language. In simpler words (but needing his as conceptual background): no ground of unity of a person experiencing themselves as perceivers and communicators, at the same time, exists in metaphysical theory. It is assumed by all, but explained by none of the sciences, including philosophy.
This, of course, remains to be established in detail. From the constructions made evident in tokenspace even so far, however, it should be apparent that what Kant called ââ¬Åanalogies of experienceââ¬Â can be carried over from perception to communication, giving the concept of a genuine dimension of reality opened up in/through sign-uses.
I propose to carry this concept further here by relating the definition of truth-and-falsehood to the duality of perceiving (a fact) and talking (about it) through the conce[pt of [B]"squaring*ââ¬Â [/B] in tokenspace. The duality of predicate-on-subject in the sentence, repeating the duality of property and object in the situation, can be schematized as figure with four sides that fit together, like a tessara, when it is true. A tessera, according to Websterââ¬â¢s New International Dictionary 2nd ed., is: ââ¬ÅL. a square piece; cf. tetragon. 1. A token or password;--from guest and host sharing a broken dieââ¬Â. Surely a more apt phrasing of the concept I advance here as a transcendental apriori ground of mere inclus8ive metaphysics could not be found. The fact that it already existed in the dictionary, as if Daniel Webster had already thought it out, cubes the square.

What a person supports with arguments, taking themselves to be connecting true ââ¬Åisââ¬Â sentences [B]S*3[/B] in sentences [B]S*4, [/B] is the reality they relate to, moving from one range if perceived facts to another. This is the ââ¬Åplaneââ¬Â they are on. What they ââ¬Åsquare inââ¬Â, as, for example, under ââ¬Åthe four corners of the earthââ¬Â (NT) contains what is laid out under sign-use ââ¬â ââ¬ÅGodââ¬Â, if that is taken as closure of all; is matched from outside by what is ââ¬Åsquared outââ¬Â: that part of reality that has been split off, then denied, rendered unvailable for them to relate to. This is the psychologically ââ¬Åunboundedââ¬Â, ââ¬Åbeyond the paleââ¬Â, outside the enclosure of perception brought under sign-use.
While the phenomenon may have been thoroughly familiar to Voltaire (see below) its diagnosis as a malady is 20th century. A person determined to do so can reason automatically to self-consistent, but wrongconclusions.

The next day, as Candide was walking out, he met a beggar all covered with scabs, his eyes sunk in his head, the end of his nose eaten off, his mouth drawn on one side, his teeth as black as a cloak, snuffling and coughing most violently, and every time he attempted to spit out dropped a tooth. Candide, divided between compassion and horror, but giving way to the former, bestowed on this shocking figure the two florins which the honest Anabaptist, James, had just before given to him. The specter looked at him very earnestly, shed tears and threw his arms about his neck. Candide started back aghast.
"Alas!" said the one wretch to the other, "don't you know dear Pangloss?" "What do I hear? Is it you, my dear master! you I behold in this piteous plight? What dreadful misfortune has befallen you? What has made you leave the most magnificent and delightful of all castles? What has become of Miss Cunegund, the mirror of young ladies, and Nature's masterpiece?" "Dead!" cried Candide, and immediately fainted away; his friend restored him by the help of a little bad vinegar, which he found by chance in the stable. Candide opened his eyes, and again repeated: "Dead! is Miss Cunegund dead? Ah, where is the best of worlds now? But of what illness did she die? Was it of grief on seeing her father kick me out of his magnificent castle?" While Voltaire, as a man of the world, had intimate acquaintance with this process of ââ¬Åfalse squaringââ¬Â, its explanation as a human, not just ââ¬Ëderangedââ¬â¢ condition, awaited the twentieth century
Two compartments of the psyche come into play in accounting for its possibility: the distinction between conscious ââ¬Åmindââ¬Â processes and those of the body; and the dynamic of their interaction. What is given in experience, and how.
The first compartment would be the result of cortical neuron firings in the brain. This ââ¬Ålogs inââ¬Â that part of its vast store of memory links connecting textual meanings, arranged in some logical order, however rudimentary and mistaken. It gains breadth, accuracy and depth (three dimensionality) the more it is objectively pursued. With objectivity must come impartiality. The textual consciousness, responsible for linking truths with truths to get truths, and not departing from that path, is the chief function the organism, as an interactive unit, has to rely on to transcend mere moment-to-moment succession.
The second compartment lies physically below, and emotionally at the disposal of, the cocscious perceptual level of anatomical function. Communication through this deeper function of the anatomical preparation is prior to, does not depend upon, nor does it recognize the authority of, acquired secondary sign meanings as relating to reality. Who would trust reason as guide, when their brain was receiving warning signals from ââ¬Åsomething insideââ¬Â -- their instincts? What is going on, using a memory of trauma and split-off states overrides thought when it comes to action. It is not illogical or ââ¬Ånon-logicalââ¬Â, just naturally pre-ââ¬Ë or ââ¬Ëa-ââ¬Ë logical, in the sense of the word used to constrain action. Primary process would explain movement of the body by unconscious forces. Trauma memories are retained as templates (for ââ¬Ëwarding offââ¬â¢ abuse, e.g.). What may happen in childhood, and apparently did more often, the further back one goes historically, is installation of such early neurological devices as kept children alive. These are repeated later in ego-defenses of groups who raise their children a certain way. These make as if it were ââ¬Åringsââ¬Â around the contemporary consciousness of individuals relating to persons in groups through sign-uses. And it is the source of conflicts, up and down the scale of opposites on the token side of wrongly forged, ââ¬ÅGod of Godsââ¬Â communication.
Hollow, Self-Contradictory, Doomed.
The 3rd dimension in tokenspace ranges over the 2nd dimension of tokenspace, which ranges over the three dimensions of physical space, plus time. Thus the 3rd dimension of tokenspace ranges over what happened in a given time frame, its history. This is now seen to include both the events coordinated with each other in Newtonian space and time and the signs (language) used in communicating about them: tokenspace. Through it, nature itself becomes modified, as humans learn to modify the feedback to keep themselves happy all the time.
However, here comes reality. Knocking at the door to be recognized.
Only the adaptable can be allowed entrance. This means reversing all tokens not fitting the text. It's democracy and freedom the U.S. is imposing on Iraq, by God, and you had better believe it.
Here, the 3rd dimension of real physical space has been projected as if filled by the 4th dimension of tokenspace by those whose processes are not square, and who have shut out all corrective feedback. [B]Hypocritical [/B] [B]boneheads[/B]. They project unsquared panglossian fantasies for each other in order to defend their egos, individual and group, from the devastation their way of being has brought. Which is visible to anyone outside their empty 3D Tspc box. They write scripts for ââ¬Åthe classless societyââ¬Â, ââ¬Åequality for allââ¬Â ââ¬Åjustice and peaceââ¬Â, ââ¬Åfair wageââ¬Â, predicating on terms like ââ¬Åthe American peopleââ¬Â, ââ¬Åfaithââ¬Â, ââ¬ÅGodââ¬Â, ââ¬Åthe birth of a New Iraqââ¬Â by the January 30 elections in which the candidates are terrified of publishing their names and the largest turn-out is from absentee ballots from American expatriates. No kidding.
What do Michael Chernoff, Condoleeza Rice and the media of mass communication have in common? --apart from being the obvious delagatees to do the cha cha shuck**** on the American mind.
They are all three totally empty, as entities on earth, of any relation in actual personal experience to the reality of the content of other peoples lives they deal with on a daily basis. Secretary of State Rice dealing with questions the efficiency of training of the projected New Iraq national police force.
Chertoff dealing with Americaââ¬â¢s ââ¬â our ââ¬â homeland security, as a Zionist Jewish supremacist.
The media, for example CNN, now owned by Joe Klein, a Jew, broadcasting the image of what America is 24/7, for the world to see. Responsible to no one except advertisers and warrant servers, with judges from Texas appointed by the new attorney general, whoever that is.

Psychosis is the result of metaphysical linkage of psychological opposites (Jung). In sign-use, it begins by predicating on contradictions as true. This sign-use is incipient in the U.S. now, as it is on the verge of officially acting in domestic dissent cases, in the name of ââ¬ÅGodââ¬Â, to kill those who say they are the Devil. That would be full-scale psychosis.
