still too early to tell, but thats the buzz as of late, just do a gogle search on "Newt Gingrich 08".

The press will eat him alive for his past personal indescretions. They've been holding it in reserve until such time as he resurfaces in a bid for public office.

I looked up the word "neo-con" in the dictionary and it had a picture of the rectal orifice that is the subject of this thread. If he ran for president of the U.S., Jacques Chirac would have a better chance than Gingrich.

I firmly believe Newt wants to run (just as Donald Rumsfeld wanted to in '88 and '96, but was unable to put together any real network of supporters) and that when push comes to shove, he'll be forced to face the reality of, among other things, very little financial backing. I just don't think a Gingrich candidacy for the GOP nomination, in 2008 or ever, is viable (thank God).
