My carport just fell on top of my pick up and my SUV, and still snowing.

Trapped here for the past two weeks and will be here for another 3 more and maybe longer.

Also will have to clear the car port from ontop of my vehicles.

Good time to try my emergency food and generators.

And how are you guys doing with all this snow?

Two feet on the ground and still coming down, here in Reno. This is a record breaking storm. White out conditions as I write. Building lots of muscles tho, who was the guy that kept pushing the rock up the hill? That's what shoveling is like here.

Ponce: I don't know where I got the idea, but I thought you lived in Florida. Guess I was wrong, huh?

In Tennessee, we have been having freakishly warm weather for the past couple of weeks, with daytime highs in the mid- to upper-60s. Pretty weird. I, for one, like for it to be cold in the winter, and warm in the summer. Shorts in January is against the natural order of things.

Maybe because you know that I am a Cuban and you think that all Cubans belong in Florida?..........hahahahahahahaha good one.

I just loaned my small generator to the people two property from mine, their kid is in some kind of machine, I don't know what.......anyway, first I raised hell with them for not having an emergency generator and then I gave them the small one, not a gift but a loan till the power comes back, I am using the 5,000 one.

18,000 people in the state with no power I am lucky that my server also is using a generator to keep us going.

I was supposed to go to court on a traffic violation and I called the court house in order to postpone the hearing, after listening to what happen to me and my carport they dismissed the case over the phone. they were very nice about it.

I would had won the case but it would had been a $270.00 fine had I lost the case.

Snow is righteous. If it keeps flabby sub-tropical mongrels at bay, it's a blessing.

This "mongrel" likes hot climate, after being in Alaska in a 60 below temperature I freeze when ever I open the frig.

And you are right about something, I do go out less in cold weather.

By the way, how did you know that I was a "mongrel" my mother was a gringa.

I am who I am because that's who I am and once you know who you are then the rest is easy, I am very secure in "who" I am.

Someone can only insult you if what they tell you you accept it as an insult, like when I was in the Army and a black guy called an SOB and I looked at him and told him " I didn't know I was your brother".

Another time this guy wanted to start a fight with me and asked me if I was a "fag" and I told him "No I am not, but I do have a couple of friends who are and if you want me to I can introduce you to them" heheheheheeh he turned around and walked away.
