Merry Christmas to you!

My parish switched to the new calender a few years ago, but I still kept my house lights on till after this weekend.

I know about the Orthodox Jews and the Christians, so.....is a Orthodox Christian a Christian Jew?
I know about the Orthodox Jews and the Christians, so.....is a Orthodox Christian a Christian Jew?
Ponce, either you are a Jewish operative, or you are a Jewish operative-- in the latter case an unwitting one. Your hostility toward Christianity is a product of secular humanism which itself is a product of the Jews who think they would fare better in a secular society.

How is your Weltanschauung different from that of any anti-Christian secular Jew??!!! This thought should make you shudder!!
I know about the Orthodox Jews and the Christians, so.....is a Orthodox Christian a Christian Jew?
Ponce, Jews who have become Christians, but who maintain their "Jewishness' are usually called 'Messianic Jews'. They are completely different from Orthodox Christians. The Orthodox Christian Church is the literal descendant of the churches of the East that were established in the very early days of the Church, such as in Antioch, Constantinople, and Damascus. It also includes much of eastern Europe. Greece, and Russia. Their priests and bishops still have the apostolic succession, meaning that my priest was ordained by a priest, who was ordained by a priest, which eventually goes all the way back to the original Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. The Orthodox Church has also held fast to traditional Christian doctrine, holding the same beliefs and using the same liturgy now that they have for over a thousand years. The Orthodox Church is still little known in the West, but it is something conservatives should look into.
