MARYVILLE, Mo. (Dec. 18) - A baby girl that had been cut out of her mother's womb was found after a frantic search, and authorities arrested the woman they say strangled the mother and stole the child.
The child was found Friday in seemingly good health in an eastern Kansas home. A red Toyota similar to a description offered earlier by police was in the driveway.
Lisa M. Montgomery, 36, of Melvern, Kan., was arrested later Friday and charged with kidnapping resulting in death.
Authorities say Bobbie Jo Stinnett, 23, was found Thursday in a pool of blood inside her small white home in Skidmore, a town in northwest Missouri.
Earlier, Stinnett, who was eight months pregnant, had been talking with her mother on the phone, and hung up saying a woman she had chatted with online had just arrived at her door, authorities said.
U.S. Attorney Todd Graves said Montgomery contacted Stinnett through an online message board, and authorities zeroed in on her using computer forensics. Montgomery was seeking to buy a dog from Stinnett, who raised rat terriers, he said.
Stinnett, married for little more than a year and expecting her first child, worked at an engine factory in nearby Maryville. Her husband was at work when she was killed, authorities said.
Montgomery is the mother of two high school-age children, but Graves said she had been pregnant with another child that was never born.
It's unclear when she lost the baby or under what circumstances, but the complaint said she had lied to her husband about giving birth. Graves declined to give a motive for the crime.
According to the criminal complaint, Montgomery traveled about 40 miles to Topeka, Kan., on Thursday to go shopping. Her husband received a call from her saying she had gone into labor and given birth.
Kevin Montgomery and the couple's two children met Lisa and the newborn at a parking lot in Topeka and drove home, according to the affidavit.
The next day, authorities say, Montgomery confessed that she strangled Stinnett from behind, laterally cut her open, removed the baby and cut her umbilical cord. She also admitted that she lied to her husband about the ordeal.
DNA tests positively confirming the child was the Stinnetts' were pending Friday.
"We're confident we have the little girl that was taken from Skidmore,'' Nodaway County Sheriff Ben Espey said.
The grisly slaying shocked neighbors in the towns where the two women lived.
"They're very normal country people,'' said Sandra Bullock, 45, who lives about a mile down the road from the Montgomerys. "It's too hard to believe.''
Stinnetts' neighbor Bill Dragoo was equally surprised.
"It blows my mind that this happened,'' he said. "She was such a shy person. They didn't deserve this.''
Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Sheldon Lyon said the investigation was ongoing. He would not say if additional charges might be filed or if there were other suspects.
Several pregnant women have been killed in recent years by attackers who then removed their fetuses, in some cases to pass the children off as their own.
In one of the most recent cases, a 21-year-old woman was shot to death in Oklahoma in December 2003, allegedly by another woman who pretended the 6-month-old fetus was her child. The fetus died and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.[/QUOTE]

This is a very good sample as to why the US is loosing the confidence and trust of the world and why America is no long look upon as the savior of those who need their help.
It looks to me like you people either haven't seen the pictures of the one, two, and three years old dead babies in Palestine and Iraq or you are turning a blind eye because you approve of what the Zionists are doing to the Palestininas in Palestine and the Americans in Iraq.
Have you seen the Palestinian one year old babie with half his chest missing from an Israeli bullet? How about the two year old with his left arm and part of the shoulder missing? Or the one year old with his lower body missing from a high caliber weapon? to me it was from a M-80A1 50 caliber sniper weapon.
Drink your beer and enjoy your tv games for someday it will happen here and then you will learn what is it like to loose a loved one to an enemy bullet.
In order to feel something for yourself you first must feel for others or you will never feel anything.
I am really surprised at you guys, some of you act and talk like all you read are the Jewish news in the US. To know what is going on world wide you must read the world news.
At one time I was proud to say "DE OPPRESSO LIBER" but now that's no longer the truth. You guys make comments about the UN because according to you they don't do their job? well, the Zionist state of Israel has broken 64 UN rules and the UN do have the right to go into Palestine in order to inplement order and save the Palestinian people but thanks to the US, who is controlled by the Jews and tells the US what to do, the UN will never go into Palestine.

I also see very little to disagree with there, other than to note that (once again) Ponce seems to have been a little too quick to assume that just because we're outraged about the Zionists and their lies & acts of vile, brutal criminality, doesn't mean we can't also be outraged by vicious, evil murderers here in our own country. However, he's wise to point out that its really not the domestic news stories you need to be reading these days....

Kevin? the problem with me is that I don't have or am affected by the tunnel vision syndrome.
While most people are looking at the trees I look at the movement of the whole forest and only look at a particular tree when it affects the movement of the whole forest.
If it sounds crazy to you is ok, I know that I am crazy and don't think like most people. Where you might think in two dimension I think in three.
For example, when to many people agree on something I always try to find out what was the define factor that help them believe in the truth of the matter.

Il Ragno, I share your deep revulsion for this stomach-turning crime. Unfortunately, such atrocities are not unique to our age, as a close look at the criminal outrages of Victorian England alone will reveal (Jack the Ripper, anyone?).
What [I]is[/I] unique to our age is the universal media saturation coverage that this horror is getting. The net effect of 24/7 immersion in this sort of depraved perversion can only have the effect of further numbing whatever sense of moral outrage remains among the White masses. And meanwhile, as they are in such a conveniently pliable state of shock, what [I]other[/I] subliminal messages might the Great Hypnotized Herd be persuaded to absorb?
As White nationalists, it will be worth holding our noses and paying close attention to the governmedia party line, to observe how the story is spun to advance our invisible masters' interests. In the case of the Hmong Massacre, for example, the eagerly-anticipated guiltfest of "Evil-White-male-with-deadly-assault-weapon-slaughters-innocents" had to be quickly resculpted into "Inoffensive-nonWhite-driven-to-justifiable-homicide-by-White-racists" when it became clear that the perpetrator didn't fit the governmedia cookie cutter. And likewise, I don't think there's much doubt that the Media Lords were eagerly drooling to spin this latest atrocity story into "[I]Another[/I]-demented-White-male-commits-sickening-sexual-violence."
Now that we know the bestial killer was a Womynperson, I'm wondering how long it will take before we see one or more of these threads emerge in the media coverage:
1: This poor womyn (the murderer) must have been Sexually Abused As A Child(tm), probably by her brutal beast of a father.
2: It's all our Sexist Society's Fault(tm) for brainwashing womynpersons into desiring motherhood so desperately that they'll kill for it.
3: The killer's husband was Abusive(tm) to her (sexually, physically, verbally; take your pick).
4: The killer's atrocity was just a Cry For Help(tm), and if those around her -- particularly the nasty, dimwitted [I]men[/I] -- had just been more Compassionate And Caring(tm), none of it would have happened.
5: [Fill in the blank with the propaganda template of your choice.]
And if, in the unlikely event that our criminal "justice" system does not allow this demonic bitch to escape the extermination she so richly deserves, the inevitable anti-capital-punishment protests (multiracialmultiethnicmulticultural, of course) will be given the maximum possible air time. Gotta make sure the TV-addicted collective understands how morally superior it is to shun such moralistic judgmentalism as putting bloodthirsty harpies to death. After all, if it's blood-soaked vampires in the electric chair today, it'll be God's Chosen People in the gas chambers tomorrow, right?
There is [I]nothing[/I] too vile and disgusting for the Media Lords to twist into the service of keeping the masses in line. JUSTICE FREEMAN delivered the opinion of the court:
On November 16, 1995, Debra Evans was fatally shot and stabbed in the Addison apartment where she lived with James Edwards and her children, Samantha, Joshua, and Jordan. Debra was nine months pregnant. The baby she was carrying, Elijah, was cut from her womb. Samantha was killed in the apartment with her mother. Joshua and Elijah were taken from the apartment. Jordan was left alone in the apartment with his dead mother and sister. The next day, police found Joshua's dead body in an alley in Maywood. Police arrested defendant, Fedell Caffey, that night. In connection with the murders and kidnappings of the members of the Evans family, defendant, his live-in girlfriend Jacqueline Annette Williams, and her cousin Laverne Ward were jointly indicted on several counts of first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping. They were tried separately.
Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Du Page County, defendant was convicted of the first degree murder of Debra Evans and her daughter Samantha, and the aggravated kidnapping and murder of Debra's son Joshua. See 720 ILCS 5/9-1(a), 10-2(a) (West 1994). At a separate sentencing hearing, the same jury found defendant eligible for the death penalty and further determined that there were no mitigating circumstances sufficient to preclude imposition of that sentence. Accordingly, the trial court sentenced defendant to death on the murder convictions and to a consecutive 30-year prison term on the aggravated kidnapping conviction. The death sentence has been stayed pending direct review by this court. Ill. Const. 1970, art. VI, ç4(b); 134 Ill. 2d Rs. 603, 609(a). We affirm.
BACKGROUND
The State's evidence at trial was essentially as follows. On November 16, 1995, Debra Evans was nine months pregnant with her baby, whom she had named Elijah. Debra was scheduled to be hospitalized to have labor induced on November 19. Debra had three additional children: Samantha, age 10; Joshua, age 7; and Jordan, age 2. Debra and her children lived in an apartment in Addison with James Edwards.
Edwards worked across the street from his and Debra's apartment. On November 16, 1995, at around 5:30 p.m., he left the apartment and went to work. He returned home after leaving his job at 2:30 a.m. on November 17. The back door to the apartment was unlocked. When Edwards opened the door, Jordan greeted him. Edwards found Debra lying on the living room floor completely covered by a blanket. Edwards lifted the blanket and saw a large wound to her stomach. Elijah had been cut from Debra's womb. Edwards ran to the children's bedroom. He found Samantha lying on the floor completely covered by a blanket. He lifted the blanket and saw that Samantha's neck had been slashed. Joshua was missing. Edwards telephoned 911. Several items were missing from the apartment, including Edwards' Grambling State University Tigers starter jacket and a pair of poultry shears.
Also on November 17, between midnight and 1 a.m., Williams went to the apartment of Patrice Scott in Villa Park. Scott lived with Dwight Pruitt and her three daughters; her youngest daughter, Alexis, was only 1ý months old. Williams and Scott were friends; they had known each other for two to three years. Approximately one month prior to that night, Williams had told Scott that she was pregnant and that Williams was going to have the baby in November.
Williams' knock at the door awoke Pruitt. He arose, went to the door, and saw Williams and a boy. Pruitt returned to bed and told Scott, who answered the door. Scott saw a gray automobile parked outside. Williams was wearing Edwards' starter jacket and a white sweater spotted with blood. Joshua was wearing a T-shirt, coat, and boots; he was not wearing socks or pants.
Williams told Scott that Joshua's mother had been shot, and that Williams was going to visit her in the hospital. Williams asked Scott if Joshua could spend the night at Scott's apartment; Scott assented. Williams would retrieve Joshua in the morning. Williams also claimed to have given birth and would bring the new baby with her.
After Williams left, Joshua used the bathroom and removed his coat and boots. Scott put him to bed on the living room couch. She heard Joshua whimpering and crying during the night.
Later that morning, at daybreak, Scott heard Joshua crying. Scott arose with Alexis and entered the living room. Joshua was upset. He told Scott that he had to return to his home because Jordan was there alone, and because Edwards would not know where he, Joshua, was.
