The theory of natural selection itself seems calculated to foster selfishness at the expense of public good; violence, callous indifference to suffering, short-term greed at the expense of long-term foresight. If scientific theories could vote, Evolution would surely vote Republican.

-Richard Dawkins
Dawkins would seem to have never heard of MacDonald or group evolutionary strategies. But in actuality I think he's just being trite.

-Richard Dawkins
This is a stupid comment and a guy like Dawkins would dismiss you as a nazi or bigot if you pointed out that current conservative and Republican policies are fully subsumed within a grand Zionist goal. "Short-term greed"?? You mean the hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of lives spent on Iraq, a tangential part of the Middle East stability plan? I think the consistent point made by election analysts was that the majority (red states) voted against their own interests, that massive job losses in Ohio was less important to Ohioans-- even unemployed ones-- then national security issues and the ongoing wars.
And of course, Dawkins would never say that the overwhelming Democrat vote by minorities-- seeking more gubmint money and cushy gubmint jobs-- was part of some hard-wired biological selfishness.
