I work down town in a major North American city and sometimes at lunch time I'll go inside an imposing Anglican Church that is situated across from my office. Now, I'm a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada and we're in full communion with the Anglican Church.

When I was leaving the Church last week I noticed a very large gay rainbow flag hanging just beside the doorway.
The ELCIC is also considering same sex blessings.

And at a recent synod decided to pass a motion welcoming gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered (GBLT) Christians. (Why were transvestites not included in that list? Sarcasm)
This was justified by the idea that we shouldn't limit God's love.

Friedrich,
I'm nauseous after looking around your synod's website for a bit. Please don't link so freely. :)
Seriously, where's their doctrinal statements? I can't find them anywhere. Only thing I can readily find are their pronouncements on gay marriage and female clergy. Oh my. Get out of that church, quick.
Centinel, any WELS or LCR affiliated congregations up the Canada way? I know there are some LCMS churches in Ontario..
