Comments like these alone taking from the Louisville Courier Journal alone proves why Gays will never be accepted by Mainstream America. I repeat, they will NEVER be accepted!

**A Christmas present

**Every Kentuckian who voted in favor of the amendment to ban gay marriage in our state deserves an early Christmas present: May God bless each and every one of you with a gay child or two. You deserve it. Merry Christmas!

I am happy to see not all of America's youth is brainwashed.

**`One-sided journalism'

... Kentuckians voted for the amendment banning gay marriage by an overwhelming amount. This just shows how biased The Courier-Journal is. More than three-quarters of the state voted to keep marriage between one man and one woman, yet the majority of your editorials were against the ban and slandered those who were for it, especially Christians.

It is time for either conservatives to let their voices be heard, or it is time for The C-J to stop its one-sided journalism.

It was interesting to see how much the gay marriage issue propelled Bush into office. I think that's the sort of issue that gets disproportianate amounts of attention/hostility from traditional whites because they can't be honest about the race issue.

Despite left-wing attempts to smear them as bigots and hatemongers, conservative Christians have the weight of Scripture behind them when they fight against homosexuality with righteous indignation, and they can argue that it's a behavioral choice engaged in by gays and lesbians, whereas race is beyond the individual's control.
