Look at this from CNN. It's CNN's Party Key to all their election return results.

Listed parties: Democratic - One of the big two. Conservative - Offshoot of the Reform Party? Indendence - Jesse Ventura's party, formed in 2000. Natural Law - New Age entity, run by followers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Indpendent - For the guys without a party. Republican - The other of the big two. Green - First candidate, Nader in 96. Libertarian - The best known 3rd-party. Reform - Formed in 1995 by Ross Perot Other - Those third parties that don't rate an icon of their own, like the Communist Cuban Party of Florida and apparently the Constitution Party.

The Constitution Party doesn't even get an icon, yet by registered members, it is the largest of all the 3rd-parties. By most other measures of party size and success (number of votes in the presidential election, number of people running for offices, etc.), it is second only to the Libertarian Party of the 3rd-parties. Some of those listed parties don't even have presidential candidates!

So, why doesn't the Constitution Party get it's own icon? My guess it is that if it were a nutjob or a liberal party, it would have had an icon.

Good eye, HH. I just dropped them a line to call their attention to the, ahem, oversight.
