Seriously, he is the last person on this earth I think that will ditch the neocons. Its a horrid Mutt and Jeff symbiosis, but it has complimented Bush perfectly. In a way, I think its much like the black/jew partnership - and its certainly as strong.

He will never ditch the neocons. The only break will come if they ditch him.

There's the implied idea that he has the ability to escape the neocons. If he tried he'd end up well ventilated from a high velocity lead ventilation system. Naturally, it'd be the result of a "Terrorist" attack. (How convenient is that... Make a martyr and remove an obstacle all at once!) Afterward, Cheney steps in. Neo's have nothing to lose. They're not going down without a fight, and you can look to Israel to see what they consider a fair fight.

I don't know what it is about Bush and the neocons, but Bush isn't about to ditch them. On the good side, as the neocons have been greatly discredited, Bush will find helping them to be more difficult. I doubt he'll be able to give the neocons that war against Iran and Syria that the neocons want, if re-elected.

FadeTheButcher,

Bushie is not going to ditch the Neocons.

He might tone it down, but I would not bet on it.

I have been sickened by the Pat Buchanan has tryed to suck up to Jorge el Busho. And alway try to say something nice about him, he not going to change Pat.
