Seldom have I ever had such an epiphany as this. I suggest that the Bush twins who have never considered military service as a viable option seek another way to serve this wonderful country and the troops. They should volunteer as "comfort girls".

Imagine the great honor and pleasure this would give the troops. They could write home to family and friends that during a session of passion one twin (perhaps even both) told him how proud she was of this troop and would do her best to please him. Photos should be made available of proof for the trooper and for President Bush's campaign so that he could not be maligned for not caring about American troops.

Edward, I really don't think your post was very good. Seriously, you're a smart guy: let's do better next time. Talk about Bush, not his daughters.

That's weak.

That's weak.
I am easily in the lowest 10% of those who post here in moral character. I could not approach your standards. If I were your age, I would have volunteered by now. Gladly would have I served my country once again. I suggest that if you fail your country now, you will be remorseful in old age.

If you did go, you could perhaps catch up with one of the Bush twins and have your picture taken with your shorts down or up. Give you something to talk about and tell your grandkids.

I know this is off the subject and probably irrelevent considering the weighty subject matter but I am a music lover and must ask this question: do you know the name of the piano piece that is being played in the background of the first site shown in your post? I have heard it a thousand times and know by heart, but I just can't put a handle on it and that is driving me crazy!

I'd never fight a war for America. Maybe in 1950 I would have, but I'm not dying so Julio and Juanita can fill up our streets with their children. I'm not dying for them - why should I? Only a fool would do so.

Forget those damn silly cookies and letters that Americans like to believe the troops want. Support our troops: give them some nooky.
Don't turn into a dirty old man, Eddy. Petr
I am admonished by some youngster who should be shouldering his burden of national defense for not adhering to his moral code. Yet I know many things he does not. For instance:
Troops angry over no-hookers plan

RHEIN-MAIN AIR BASE, Germany, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- U.S. troops stationed in Germany are upset over plans to change the Uniform Code of Military Justice to make paying for sex a punishable offense.

In Germany, unlike other areas of the world where U.S. troops are stationed, prostitution is legal and women who choose the world's oldest profession are taxed like any other workers. They also are given regular health checks.

Pfc. Marty Conyers of the 464th Replacement Detachment on Rhein-Main told the European edition of Stars & Stripes changing the UCMJ would be unfair to troops.

"It would be different if it were some third-world country that had no jobs and no opportunity, and women were forced into it," Army Sgt. Adam Z. Pastor said. "It's a little bit pushy to enforce that law here."

Military wife Dana Molnar advises defense officials to stop fretting over troops's sex lives.

"It seems like we can spend our time worrying about more important things," she told the newspaper.
http://interestalert.com/brand/siteia.shtml?Story=st/sn/09270000aaa02fc6.upi&Sys=rmmiller&Fid=NATIONAL&Type=News&Filter=National%20News

Nothing like it for morale. Try it yourself Petr.

Amen to that, Faust. Edward should stop living in the past and stop acting as if supporting the military adventures of American Empire would in any way benefit its White population (or anyone else except a tiny clique of warmongers).

Petr
If nothing else, I am a realist. If we are not fighting for oil, we should be. The present oil-dependent American society bereft of wealth producing industries will have to steal oil. I admit this is a sad, sad situation.

I believe if we are denied oil due to an economic price rise or destruction of the Middle Eastern oil fields, we will have something similar to a domestic rebellion. Unlike many on this board, I do not believe for one second that this situation would be of benefit.

Many, if not most, of the belligerent messages on this board come from internet warriors who would soil their pants if they had a physical confrontation. To prevail there would have to be a national organization to plan and coordinate. I see none now and doubt there will be any in the near future. People reluctant or afraid to reveal their identities will not be found when danger comes. They will hide and let their betters shoulder the burden. Afterwards they will lie, just like Bush and Cheney.

I say let Bush contract with Mexico for some of their troops to send to Iraq to do his dirty work. They would be much cheaper and more expendable. Kuwait let American troops fight their war, so why not let Mestizos do the same for us?

S Kemper,

That's a sterling idea. Just think, we outsource so many things? Why not the defense as well? Oh yeah, there is one fly in this ointment. The plutocrats of the Wall Street Journal wouldn't allow this. Americans cost too much and in order to usher in the brave new world it is necessary to kill off as many of the brave and intelligent ones as possible so as to rule over the lumpenproletariat in the easiest way possible.

Well, it was a good idea. They would still need intelligent white officiers to run the show to make sure the objectives are met.

EG,

I think you are on to something about sending the Bush girls to the front. But it would be too mean to make them comfort girls, isn't that illegal, on paper that is. No, I say give them combat positions and even make them officiers, for they are the President's daughters, right? Well send them to the front on a combat mission where they would have a good chance of getting captured and let them be shown on Arab television begging their father for mercy. I think that would be better.

Gabrielle,

His point is rhetorical. I admit it is crude, but I understand what he means.

Edward is anything but a leftist. He is a Viet Nam veteran who has very strong views about our so-called "leaders" today who cause all these problems and expect their betters to bail them out without suffering the consequenses of their folly. One of those consequenses is having their own children serve as Robt. E. Lee's 14 year old son did as an artillerist. Edward's point is simply that our "leaders" today aren't the same as those of the past. For lack of a better word the aristocracy was expected to lead by example not only by the common folks, but by themselves as well. I share Edward's view.

This board didn't exist at the time of Clinton and Blair's idiotic Bosnia misadventure, but I believe that Edward would have had the same opinion on that too.

Check out the thread posted above. I believe you will find it enlightening.

Sertorius, thank you for informing about Mr.Gibbson’s honorable service.

While I respect the sacrifice Mr.Gibbson made for us all, to say those awful things about someone’s daughters, is too much.
