"Rage Against The Machine"

I have always just been sickened by this group. They seem to be nothing by a marxist propaganda machine. I remember first taking note of this when I saw shirt for sale with marxist symbols on it that said "Rage Against The Machine" I had had know about this group but knew nothing about them. So I went to thier website. Sickening!

RATM makes no effort to hide their leftism, either. In that, I can respect them in the same way I can respect loony lefties like McKinney and Nader for their honesty....at least they're not limousine liberals like so many other recording artists.

Though if they were really against "the man" as much as they pose to be, why do they sign contracts with megacorp media companies like Epic (owned by Sony) instead of going indie? Something to ponder....

Marxists murder 100,000,000 people from 1900-2000. If some crazed loonie skinhead started a band called "Rage Against Zion" How contracts with megacorp media companies like Epic (owned by Sony) would they get?

Both the singer, Zak, and guitarist, Tom, of RATM are mulattos. Both of these guys came from wealthy families. They're nothing but liars. They had a nice time of perpetuating the myth that somehow the US Government is biased against non-Whites and favorable to White people. Phooooey Leftist pipe dreamers, shut the f*ck up, and go wash your stinkin' Che Guevara t-shirt. Half the retarded fans of this group don't even know what Guevara stood for.

Anyway, the bottom line is that RATM's music sucked. No melody whatsoever, ripped-off Led Zeppelin riffs, and an atrocious singer. Rage Against The Machine is broken up now anyway. The guitarist from RATM has formed another group with former Soundgarden (another group I can't stand) singer Chris Cornell called Audioslave. I don't like them either but at least they're not politically abhorrent like RATM.

Yes and good to here they are now more.
Anyway, the bottom line is that RATM's music sucked. . . Rage Against The Machine is broken up now anyway.
I as I recall "Soundgarden" sucked too!
The guitarist from RATM has formed another group with former Soundgarden (another group I can't stand) singer Chris Cornell called Audioslave. I don't like them either but at least they're not politically abhorrent like RATM.
Yes RATM was the most politically abhorrent band to hit it big, I cannot think of anything else like them. I remember it was seeing a RATM t-shirt with that communist red star on it that cause me to go and look at there website. One often shocked by the number of degenerate Yuppies kids joining marxist groups.

I mean, c'mon, what kind of Marxist revolutionary does a song for a major studio Matthew Broderick suckathon?

Sounds like they have the typical background of Bolshevik revolutionaries then

Very true. I don't know much about them beyond the surface things already mentioned in this thread. The guitarist now with with Audio Adrenaline doesn't impress me much on lead guitar. From what limited bit I've heard from him he tries to substitute creativity for lack of skill and technique.

But that song they had called "No Shelter" did rock, though. I will say that.

I really don't care for Rage....their rap-yelling makes the Beastie Boys look like geniuses. However, I take issue with some of you old folks on Soundgarden....They were the first band to get me interested in rock-n-roll (10 years ago) with "Black Hole Sun." They also had the power-metal classic "Outshined," which is outstanding for its quick chord-changing and amazing drumwork. Sure, their lyrics were often meaningless, and toward the end of their career, their lyrics seemed more violent and drug-induced...with songs like "Pretty Noose" and "Blow Up the Outside World."
