Nader criticized for anti-Israel comments
By JANINE ZACHARIA
WASHINGTON
Abraham Foxman, the Anti-Defamation League's national director, fired back at Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader on Friday in what has become an ongoing sparring match over Nader's assertion that Israel and American Jews are "puppeteers" who control Congress and the White House.
Foxman replied to a letter from Nader, in which the candidate stood by his original assertion. Nader's August 5 letter to Foxman said, "The Israelis have a joke for the obvious ââ¬â that the United States is the second state of Israel."
"How often, if ever, has the United States ââ¬â either the Congress of the White House ââ¬â pursued a course of action, since 1956, that contradicted the Israeli government's position?"
Foxman wrote in reply: "I was disappointed to read your letter of August 5 because it merely confirmed my concerns about your original comments Rather than allay our concerns, your letter only furthers conspiracy theories about Jews and borders on bigotry."
Foxman said Nader had ignored the fact that "there are many examples of US disagreement with Israeli policies." And he described Nader's accusation about Jewish power as "false and offensive."
Nader is so far only on fewer than a dozen states' ballots in the November election.

Washington -- Ralph Nader, that master of controversy, has a new bete noire: the Anti-Defamation League. The independent presidential candidate has become embroiled in an ugly exchange with the Jewish organization since he suggested that President Bush and Congress were "puppets" of the Israeli government.

Maybe vote for Ralph?
Ralph's right on Israel and the terrible threat corporations present us.
But he's really confused on sodomite "marriage" (phew!!) and abortion on demand.
Maybe I could justify it as a protest vote.
This is certainly a point in his favour.

So what,,,,,,,,,,, the Jews don't care what the US think of them as long as we (the government, not me) keep supporting them and give them our tax payers money.
We tell them not to do this and they say "sure, sure" and just keep on doing it anyway...........
Like I keep saying "THOSE PEOPLE CONTROL THE US GOVERNMENT"

Got any more where that one came from, e.g., Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, i.e., our founding white fathers. None of them were negroes were they? Sometimes I wonder when I turn the TV on.
