I just love Tancredo!!! We need more like him. I voted for Oberweis for senate here in IL because immigration was a main issue for him. He came in second to the infamous Jack Ryan that got booted for his kinky sex lusts. I was ticked that Oberweis didn't get to replace Ryan but the GOP smacked him down of course. Now Keyes...double smack. What a joke this state is.

We were a bit disappointed with Tancredo when he made some off-the-cuff disparaging remarks about Vdare.com. I think someone had asked him a question about Vdare ge wasn'r really prepared to answer. Following him though I think he is definitely starting to move toward a more ideological and comprehensive understanding of the immigration issue, and is now articulating such.
I think with him still active people who write off the GOP and unreservedly embrace the anarchistic/anti-democratic/anti-american stances of some of the hard-core WN like Giles are making a big mistake. The GOP still remains the electoral vehicle for mainstream WASP Americaand its allies, confused and/or manipulated by the neocons as both it and this faction of the populace is right now.
