MKULTRA

MKULTRA (also known as MK-ULTRA) was the code name for a CIA mind control research program lasting from the 1950s through the 1970s. Starting from 1964, the project was renamed to MKSEARCH. The project's goal was to produce a perfect truth drug for use in interrogating suspected Soviet spies during the Cold War, and generally to explore any other possibilities of mind control. Experiments were often conducted without the subjects' knowledge or consent. The project was headed by Dr. Sidney Gottlieb.

Faust, Notice that widespread drug usage began in the time that these experiments supposedly ended. The Liberal media at the time hyped up drug usage among teens and young adults as the "groovy" thing to do. Now why was this? Mind control of the masses with profit on the side? This is not a correlation to not be overlooked.
