What happened to Bishop Richard Williamson SSPX?
Society of Saint Pius X Purge? Why was Bishop Richard Williamson moved?
"Bishop Williamson was the rector of the Society of Saint Pius X's Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary at Winona, Minnesota until he moved to be rector of the SSPX's Our Lady Co-Redemptrix Seminary in La Reja, Argentina in 2003; he is one of the bishops consecrated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre."
Moving an old man to the other side of world does seem odd? Does anyone know what is going on!
I note Bishop Williamson's Letters end on Aug. 9, 2003.

I don't know for sure, but my hunch is that it may just be a matter of climate. After you reach a certain point in life, the Minnesota winters just become too cruel. I have several retired relatives back there and none of them winter in Minnesota. They take off to Florida, Texas or elsewhere.
I definitely miss His Excellency's letters, though.
