Has anyone here read "Who Are We?" by Samuel Huntington? I confess, I had not even heard of this book until this evening, and only learned of it by browsing amazon.com.
Sampling the reviews, it would appear Dr. Huntington does write that "America" has a race-based core!
The ideologically-hideous and physically-repulsive Tamar Jacoby spent a great deal of ink fretting over Huntington's ethnocentrism, even as she stressed that the Mexicans residing within our borders are the finest "American" patriots.
Sounds like a winner. Anyone know for sure?

It's close but no cigar.
