Sean Hannity insults Grunts!
As Sean Hannity talked about the charges made by the USN Officers who formed the Bushite anti-Kerry swiftboatmen group, he said the boat crewmen who supported John Kerry retelling of the events were "just Enlisted Men."

Marines, as I remember, did not have that name. Hannity like so many of his kind does not care about those who do the fighting and dying. These unfortunates to Hannity exist just to serve his definition of manliness and bravery, but not himself.

edward gibbon,
Thanks yes you are Right.
Grunts was the name for the infantry of the army. Marines, as I remember, did not have that name.
I did wonder about that right after I posted this. Marines I think would be "Leathernecks." I don't know what the term for Navy would be.
You are very Right.
Hannity like so many of his kind does not care about those who do the fighting and dying. These unfortunates to Hannity exist just to serve his definition of manliness and bravery, but not himself.
And he used a very nasty tone of voice when he said "just Enlisted Men."

Faust,
Was this on his radio show or on Hannity & Colmes?

Faust,
I'd love to see a transcript of this so I put it in the proper context. Taking it at face value I see Hannity being his typical self- an arrogant s.o.b. I can make this observation about him being a cynic. When I used to listen to him he couldn't make a comment about the military without telling the hanniots who much he supported our troops. He makes comments of this nature so many times that I suspect this maybe more lipservice than anything else, he "Freedom Concerts" notwithstanding. (Hannity could have one of those on a daily basis and he still wouldn't get the blood off of himself for the war he helped start) My own experience with people who do this makes me believe that they have an ulterior motive. In Hannity's case it is his constant position of putting Israel first. An example of this is the time I heard him get on a caller for complaining about the looting in Baghdad, specifically the museums. As part of his justification for not doing anything was his statement that we didn't have the troops because we "were defending Israel." What crap!

EDUMAKATEDMOFO and Sertorius,
It was on his radio show I can not find a transcript. He asked the one of the members of "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" about the men took Kerry's side. He asked if any of them were Officers or were they "just Enlisted Men."
I think none of "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" member were on Kerry's Boat. And one of them has quit the group saying hates Kerry but disagrees with the charges made.
Limbaugh and Hannity both went on and on about Kerry shooting a teenager, but later on I saw a show which added that the kid had an RPG! Limbaugh and Hannity both left out that detail!
We might check back later to see if anything pops up.

Faust,
This sounds like something Hannity would say. Here's something you'll like. Gen. Tommy Franks was interviewed by Hannity the other say. As Franks was talking to him something popped in my mind that Franks said about Feith. He said that "he was the dumbest f** guy on the planet". Of course this was before he was interviewed by Sean boy.
