There are private non-profits already in place for this sort of thing. And, the last I heard, this country was in a health insurance crisis, with costs already going through the roof. EC emotional manipulation. I took particular interest in this: Domenici said he would make another push for the bill he's advocated for years that would require health insurers to treat serious mental illness the same way they treat physical illness and lashed out at fellow Republicans who had anonymously used a procedural move to block it. "I don't know who you are yet," said Domenici, "but I'll find out."
That's right, Pete. Go after your own and to hell with the open borders and the incoming flood of foreign blood that is hostile to the very existance of the US. Talk about screwed up priorities. Just maybe some people actually believe that the US federal government can't solve every single freaking problem in life. It's especially arrogant and offensive to require taxpayers to provide financial support to relieve the personal tragedies of their elected officials.
