I will not happen, although it does give me an opportunity to bring up some thoughts I've recently had on this issue.
I guess I'm a "moderate" WN, in that I think that the often-stated WN goal of reconquering the whole of North America is completely undoable. I think that whites will likely become increasingly ethnocentric upon becoming a minority in states other than just Hawaii, California, Florida and Texas. However, I don't the white population adopting the same standards of ethnic purity as most WN's, nor do I see them as being sufficiently driven to undertake the requirments of such a vast project as North American reconquest. The amount of bloodshed and general savagery that would take place with such an operation would make the recent wars in the Balkans look like child's play. Considering that I personally am not up for it, I know that the bulk of the population will not be either.
I instead forsee the partitioning of North America into separate ethnocultural enclaves. I see it being triggered in the short-term by an economic collapse, caused by a spike in world oil prices or a major terrorist event. In the long-term, I can see it being triggered as a result of the decline of the middle class and the further expansion of a disenfranchised white underclass. However, as long as the latter can watch sports and successfully pay their bills, they will remain complacent, regardless of how pathetic their lives are. Things will have to get really bad, although there are a number of processes in the works that threaten to bring such a situation about. I've been observing various innovations in robotics that threaten to drive millions into unemployment. Combine that with outsourcing and the fact that there are no new industries on the horizon that promise to replace these jobs for low-to-mid level workers, and you have a future where 10-30% of the population may become unemployed in the coming years. A general decline in purchasing power will cause many consumer industries to go bust as well, causing even further unemployment. I think that the resulting social instabilities would be sufficient to revitalize the tribal instincts of white Americans.
Increasing ethnic tensions over scarce jobs will drive Mexicans living outside the southwest back into the southwest or into Mexico proper. Whites and blacks will likely complete their abandonment of the general southwest, the former fleeing to the north and the latter to the southeast. I think white southerners will be more likely to stand their ground against the blacks, but I don't think that the WN fantasy of blacks being sent "back to Africa" will ever be fulfilled. Likely Mexicans, blacks will remain in North American, and will establish a series of enclaves in different parts of the country, although they probably won't collectively total up to more than 5-7 percent of the U.S.'s current geographical area. Minority groups that comprise less than 1 percent of the population -- such as Somalis and Hmong -- won't have anywhere to go, and will be in trouble. The Chinese will consolidate themselves in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and the greater Vancouver area, much of which they already own. (The Chinese diaspora would probably constitute the greatest danger, given that they could petitition Beijing's assistance -- the PRC would probably be more than happy to take advantage of the power vaccum resulting from such high levels of social strife.) Muslims will flock to the Detroit/Toronto area. In the end, we will not be left with an all-white America, but with a patchwork of ethnically-based mini-states, which may or may not be loosely federated with each other.
Further, I don't think that complete racial homogeneity will be present within a given territory. We have a lot of honorary whites in our society -- such as hapas (half-white/half-chinese) and people with 1/4 AmerIndian ancestry -- who I don't see the general population turning on. A large percentage of whites claim some AmerIndian ancestry, even if it isn't particularly noticable. I don't want to invite any more NW's into my living space, but I certainly don't have any problem with "honorary whites" who have noticably non-white features sticking around.
Personally, I think I'd really like to live in a city-state. The U.S. is really too large to wrap one's mind around -- one cannot easily identify with a population spread out over such a large area. Further, geographical expansion isn't nearly as necessary in this stage of history as it once was. We can live comfortably by applying current crafting and scientific techniques to the vast amounts of pre-processed and extracted materials available to us in the nearest mid-sized town.
