Note on the reverse logic at work in American political discourse.
The choice between Kerry or Bush, which this system has groaned and delivered up, is no choice at all for those demanding US-Israeli relations be on the ballot.
The constant linking of the names of the two countries by mainstream media and pundits, reinforced by references to "Judeo-Christian values" or "morality', is: 1. a violation of the integrity of adherents of the religion of the New Testament, who have just cause for holding old-world Jews of the sort pushing the president to their version of messianic madness responsible for not only killing Christ, but America -- mspiritually, economically, militarily: indirectly, if not by actual conspiratorial deed (cf. the deadly Anthrax letters to liberal Senaators Leahy and Daschle, faking a "radical militant Islamic jihadist" (that's what they say) sender). 2. a pre-emption of the right of the governed to vote on foreign alignments no discussed. Democracy is thereby reduced to a voting process for certifying what has been decided in advance behind closed doors, by conspirators. 3. a cynical 'theological' manipulation. The bundling of "Jew" and "Christian" as under attack by a common enemy -- "terrorists", eg., Al Queda Hizsballah", now being linked in this next round of assault on Americanism -- predicates on an inconsistant dyad, an internal self-contradiction, as if it were reality.
These add up to a sin against God (The Father, Son, Holy Ghost); against America, and against being, itself. That is how I testify, though not otherwise given to speaking for any member of these groups in any respect whatsoever. This is a matter of defining the limiting, or degenerate case, tolerance of which negates all three.
For wide distribution. This goes beyond preaching to prescriptive philosophical practice. The system cannot correct itself, within itself, because the language (theological and legal grammar) it has previously appealed to as outside itself, bringing Reality's objective corrective, has been drawn into the corrupted political opposits the system plays off of ('liberal v conservative", etc.). It is a metaphysical catastrophe that can only be resolved by individual's individually processing. IMHO, nothing beats that, its the Jefferson in me.
