Shrill O'Reilly via Faux News logic: French leader who doesn't attend late American's wake is anti-American and all things French will be boycotted by Shrill and Co.

Last night, I caught the first half of [B]The O'Reilly Factor[/B] and I see that Shrill was howling invective about how French President Jacques Chirac did not attend Ronald Reagan's funeral ceremony in Washington D.C. Chirac was in Georgia at the time of the ceremony. So because Chirac declined to attend the event, Shrill calls him "anti-American" and for doing so, either Shrill, Faux News, or the staff of his show will now be boycotting all French goods and services.

btw I saw the Reagan wake ( on tv last night ) granted it wasn't the REAL wake, but the capitol send-off. The words of the Congress Chaplain struck me as very anti-Christian. He spoke of a " wheel turning " like some kind of Buddhist. Definitely someone all God-Fearing Christians should shun, that man.

May Ronnie Rest in Peace, and May We All Feel Proud to have him as our President, the Last REAL President I can remember.

French President Chirac said that he wouldn't attend Reagan's funeral because he didn't want to upset any Americans by his presence.....WHY? Because disgusting propagandists like O'Reilly smeared the French so badly before, during and after the present Iraq Debacle that Chirac is only being polite and gracious enough not to overshadow Reagan's send-off with any controversy.

What do we expect from vile characters like O'Reilly? Hannity, Coulter, and the whole lot of these hacks most likely have never even been to France. They fail time and time again to inform and explain to their "enlightened" followers of France's 1,500 year bloody history of warfare. Oh, and by the way, the French were right about Iraq......I think the neo-cons owe an apology.

I just returned recently from France and each time I've visited that beautiful country I'm more and more baffled by how severely Americans are misled and lied to about the French. Believe me, the French are more polite and friendly than Americans claim to be. Yea, they like the tourist dollars but I really feel that they are also honored that you've visited their country and are interested in their culture. It's not just service workers, but even locals who express pleasure to see you visit France. If you speak French over there, you've just earned 'red carpet' treatment, but even if you don't, you still get treated nicely. Just smile.

Oh and by the way, France does a much better job of segregating their non-Whites from Whites, unlike America. O'Reilly should preach about 'American superiority'. F*ck him.

This has been my experience also. I was stationed in Germany for two years and took advantage of the chance to make some sidetrips into France. The only bad thing I could say about France is that its cities are a little shabby compared to clean and almost crime-free cities of Germany; probably due to uncontrolled immigration. As long as you don't act like a loud obnoxious A**hole, the French aren't that hard to get along with. Show a little respect and dignity and French people can be wonderful.

On my first trip to France, I accidently walked into the kitchen of our hotel thinking it was the main entrance. I excused myself and asked "ou et l'entre?" The chef politely steered me to the entrance and I thanked him. Only later did I realize I had asked, "Where is the between?" Entre means between, not entrance, as I had thought. Goofy American that I was, the staff was always polite to me, broken French and all. Unfortunately, I was with some other troops who decided to have a barbeque on the front lawn. Which needless to say earned us cold treatment from the manager. As the only one who made any effort to speak French, I apologized to the manager and after that I was the only one in our group that still got smiles and greetings from the staff. The French aren't rude, they just hold to the old-fashioned idea that money doesn't buy quality.

But maybe there will be an upside to all this anti-French rhetoric; The French just might reclaim their country and reawaken the crusading spirit of their ancestors.

Faust, I'm no expert on French politics, but I do watch France 2 News on cable every night and what I've gathered is that Chirac is corrupt, like any other leader of any other country. Is he on par with Jorge and the Jews? No. Chirac and France aren't trying to take over the world to the sole pleasure of Israel.

What France has that the United States doesn't have is multi-party representation in their government, including National Front. Also, it appears to me that regional politics play heavily in the game as well. Some regions in France even have NF "govenors", if you will, and the locals in the region seem to have a voice. US regional politics is dead, with Leviathan Fedgov ruling by decree. I would say that Chirac and his cronies are kept in check, as far as nation wrecking goes, much better than the US one-party system allows our President.

I'm not trying to put the US down, I hope you understand. We have an amazing Constitution that if it was still the law of the land, our country would be a vastly different place; one that we might be proud of. What I've noticed most is that the US-Zio media is constantly and everlastingly proclaiming on a daily basis, is that the US is the "greatest country in the history of the world" and quite frankly, I'm really sick of hearing it. Like, they're trying to coerce the sheep into believing the unreal. What I see in reality is that the US is collapsing into dire decadence and apathy with a racial and economic disasters unfolding.

The racial collapse of France (or Netherlands or Germany) is no way as severe as in the United States and quite frankly, I could see, through European news, that Europeans are getting really pissed off about it already. They show people on the news expressing severe disgust at immigration and some outsourcing as well, something you never see on zog media. The problem in France and other European countries is that it's a crime to incite racial hatred, but that law is also coming to the USA soon. We'll see what happens.

Let's see here. Chirac is bad because he wouldn't go to the funeral. Yet I didn't see Ariel Sharon there, "our strategic partner in the war on terror" and that "man of peace" as Bush called him. King Abdullah of Jordan can make it along with Karazi of Afghanistan, but not the "bulldozer." I guess the excuse that would be made if asked about this would be that he had to stay because of his coalition problem. I'd ask is Sharon afraid that Netanyahu might try to do to him what was attempted to Gorbachev in '91?

A good point, but it is Jorge's importing of non-Europeans in the USA and his pro-multi-racialism that are his main crimes in my view and on that front he is not too far off from Chirac.

I do agree that I see far more hope for France than I do for America. But that is the work of French Patriots, the National Front, and Mr. LePen not Chirac. Chirac anti-racism and cultural marxism are on par with jorge. I hope that LenPen's girl will be able to run and bring the NF to power in France. She looks good so far.

I agree Jorge's wars are bad, but it's the hords of Mexican in America and Arabs in France that will destroy us. And on that Chirac and Jorge are pretty much the same.

Also remeber Chirac did not block Jorge's resolution in the UN. I must add saddam caved to the resolution letting the UN back in and Jorge invaded anyway, so maybe the French thought they were going to stop Jorge maybe not.

I guess Sharon is still mad about Reagan getting on their asses about the Lebanon invasion and the misuse of U.S. made cluster bombs on civilians.

PARIS (AFP) - Former French actress Brigitte Bardot was fined 5,000 euros (6,000 dollars) by a Paris court for writing a book in which she declared disgust with her country's tolerance of Islam.

Bardot's publisher, Rocher, was also fined 5,000 euros for last year bringing out the book, "Un Cri Dans le Silence" (A Cry in the Silence).

Bardot, who lives in the French Riviera town of Saint-Tropez, was not present for the verdict.

Two civil rights groups, the Movement Against Racism and For Friendship Between People and the League of Human Rights, brought the lawsuit because of several passages in the book.

One of the most incriminating sections read: "I am against the Islamisation of France! This obligatory allegiance, this forced submission disgusts me.... Our ancestors, the elderly, our grandfathers, our fathers have for centuries given their lives to push out successive invaders."

The two groups which sued the ex-actress were each awarded a symbolic one euro in damages.

A complaint over a tirade in the book against "mixing our genes" with non-European immigrants -- taken in context to mean Muslims -- was not upheld.

In its verdict, the court ruled that Bardot had deliberately tried to draw a link between Islam and terrorism by mentioning the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States in a chapter on a Muslim holiday celebrated in France and elsewhere.

It found that the book argued that "the presence of Muslims on French territory and only seem undesirable to the reader, who is ineluctably led ... to reject members of the Muslim community through hate and violence."

France has Europe's biggest Muslim community, estimated at five million out of a total population of 60 million.

In her defence, Bardot admitted in court last month that she may have been too direct in the expression of her views but she did not seek to hurt anyone.

"It's my overall view of a society becoming completely decadent, where it's like mediocrity has become more important than beauty and greatness, where there are more dirty, badly kept people invading the world," she said.

I come back after a few days and see this mess. Instead of me writing a number of private notes let me put it here in one little package. Could we have some civility here? There is no need for the nastiness that I see here. I couldn't read the last few posts as they contained nothing but insults.

Based on everything that I have research everyone, including the U.S. shipped either weapons or dual use equipment (helicopters, like the ones from Hughs, for example) to Iraq up to the first Gulf War. I have seen the claims about finding weapons from France and Germany that were shipped after the embargo. In one case Fox News and others claim that some Roland A.A. missiles were found that were shipped after the embargo. Later, it was reported with little fanfare that the serial numbers matched those shipped prior to 1990 and that they were an older version. I believe that is the case with the other claims as well. The neo-cons make them and repudiate them quietly after being proven wrong or not at all after making a big deal about them knowing the the public will only know of the original claim. I believe these reports are nothing more but neo-con propaganda. Those people still hate the French for the Vichy Regime despite France later on providing Israel with nuclear technology.

Like you I don't have much use for Chirac either. I think you are right about him wanting to get paid for all the materials shipped. I also think that those in govt. and media who are raising cain about this only wish to substitute one group of multinational for another. I don't know enough about the "Oil for Food" program to say for sure that Chirac was taking bribes. I do know this. The same folks who made the claims above having been saying they have the evidence but haven't put it out in detail. After all the lying they have done in the past I want them to show me the proof. Their behavior is too much like their claims about 30,000 rocket and artillery rounds they claim that Hussein had before the war and they knew where they were hidden. I think that this sorry crew would rather walk up the stairs of a 20 story building than tell the truth.

What I can't stand about O'Reilly is the selective way he smears all of France while ignoring the things that Israel does to us. Last night he was demonstrating this by pointing out Chirac's snub (Reagan's funeral) while ignoring Sharon's snub. He is also showing his selectiveness is quoting Putin's latest comment about the warning the U.S. about future terrrotist attacks while ignoring what Putin had said on two previous occasions that were the exact opposite.
