The United States has lost 830 dead in Iraq since March 2003 with 624 deaths coming since George W. Bush challenged the Arabs with “Bring ‘em on” on July 2, 2003.[1] The United States has had 124 military men die in Afghanistan.[2] The total dead now is greater than 950 in the first battle in a war that may last a century.

A website established to honor American Jews who have died in this current war against terror lists four names who died; Corporal Mark Asher Evnin, 1Lt. David Bernstein, 1Lt. Seth Dvorin and Sgt. Marc Seiden.[3] With an American population approaching 290 million and about 6 million of them being Jews an appropriate number of dead coming from the Jewish community would be about 20 dead if they were fighting as much as their countrymen. But the goyim are dying at a rate some five times that of American Jewry. Considering the keen interest and cheering by the Israeli lobby for American involvement in the Middle East, the reluctance of “our” Jews to fight may surprise some. The historically minded will remember their evasion of 5 previous American wars including the holy of holies, World War II.

The Jewish Soldier Foundation did solicit donations for those wishing to contribute to site maintenance. Those interested will do so. Perhaps some who read this may even gather the courage to contact their Congressman or Senator and ask why Americans are dying in a war greatly inspired by Jews.
