Good work. I noticed the poster "Terri" ran for cover pretty fast when you challenged her to back up her claim that the US and Israel the same interests. She'll probably ban you if you get too uppity.

OK, I've managed to get in a few comments, but I'm barely keeping a straight face as I type this stuff. I'm actually worried the mods might ban me. Eeven they must realize no one can be as stupid as this GOPKing persona I've invented. Here are my comments thus far.
On a thread dealing with gun control:
-Does anyone think President Bush would really side with the Far Left and allow the AWB to be reauthorized? I just can't believe he would let that happen.
-I don't believe Bush will abandon gun owners and conservatives. If he does, there's something wrong with our party.
On a thread dealing with chaos in Iraq:
-Iraq will settle down. I firmly believe that. Remember everybody, a year ago President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld said our troops would be hailed as liberators. And I don't doubt that it WILL happen once we deal with the malcontents.
On thread dealing with the Israeli movers arrested in Tennessee:
-Well, obviously, there is more involved here than meets the eye if the FBI is involved. I doubt it's anything significant, though, and certainly nothing as significant as the spying Jonathan Pollard did for Israel.
On a thread dealing with English as the official language:
-Isn't it racist to expect people to learn English? I mean come on everyone, we need to move with the times. This is the 21st century, and this country belongs to people from all over the world, not just caucasians who speak English. Most immigrants come here looking for a better life. They work hard. Their only goal is achieving the American dream. And even though most immigrants support the Democrats, I fully support President Bush and the GOP's decision to oppose English as the official language. We need immigrants. Immigrants make this country great. They always have. And they always will.

On the Israeli spy thread, I wrote this:

Pollard was a traitor. His actions violated not only U.S. laws but the laws of Judaism as well. Jewish law requires that Jews who reside in any country MUST be loyal to that country and be good citizens.
I hope the previous poster is aware of the sacrifices that Americas' Jewish community has made in defense of our country.
Certainly the actions of a Pollard are despicable but they in no way obviate the fact that 600,000 Jews were in American uniform during WW2! Or their are over 1200 American Jews fighting in Iraq. Or that over 60,000 Kosher for Passover MRE's were shipped overseas last Passover.
Something GOPking might want to remember.

The GOPUSA moderator's comments on that immigration thread are interesting.
He made sure to remind everyone that the problem isn't immigration per se -- it's illegalimmigration.
So it looks like the GOPUSA forum is willing to let the rank and file Tancredo supporters blow off some steam on the immigration issue, as long as they don't say things that are too taboo. This way, they can let the Tancredo suporters think they actually have a voice within the GOP. Very clever.

Here is my response to Menachem Ben Yakov. I think I may have gone over the top this time making it more likely that somone will catch on to the joke.

Sir, I think you misunderstand me.
I support Israel very stongly. I believe Israel has a right to exist. Israel has been a stalwart friend of the United States since the late 1940s.
In my opinion, Pollard should never have had to spy for Israel in the first place. Rather than force the Mossad into a position where they had to ask a Jewish naval officer to steal American intelligence, we, the United States, should have just just freely given the Israelis the information they needed to defend themselves from terrorists.
I think it's a disgrace that we didn't.
Can I assume you agree with me that American and Israeli interests are one, and that our nations are standing shoulder to shoulder in the war on terror?
Israel is a beacon of light in an otherwise very dark, very barbaric part of the world. The US may have transferred more national wealth to Israel through its foreign aid policies than any other nation on the planet, but it it were it up to me, and I think most Republicans, it would have been more.
And although no weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq thus far, I for one am GRATEFUL that the US is making this sacrifice -- because if we have accomplished nothing else, we destroyed have one of Israel's enemies. Thankfully, our soldiers aren't dying for nothing.
Finally, I want you to know that I was sickened during the recent Congressional "investigation" into Israel's attack on the USS Liberty. Those survivors had a lot of gall suggesting that Israel's attack on the Liberty was deliberate and that Israeli pilots murdered American sailors on purpose.
As the ADL points out, we can never be too wary. Anti-semitism is on the rise in Europe. And I think that's what these USS Liberty survivors are -- a bunch of bigots that hate Jews but don't have the guts to admit it.
And if anyone wants google USS Liberty and Israel, they'll see exactly what I'm taking about.
