This is the homepage of the far-better-on-immigration Republican primary challenger to Rep. Chris Cannon, the amnesty for illegals champion in Utah. The man's name is Matt Throckmorton. The primary election is June 22, 2004. If you are an independent, you can register as a Republican on the day of at the polls. If you are a Democrat, you must change your party two weeks before the election. I understand there aren't many Democrats in Utah, but that some are so excited to see a Cannon challenger that they're switching.
Throckmorton was once in the Utah house. I understand he's a carpet layer by trade, not a rich guy. Cannon, meanwhile, is pretty loaded.
I don't know Throckmorton's stands on other issues, but we should stand behind this guy.
