The Post story explains how white American worshippers have simply taken a powder-"The Presbyterian Church (USA), with a membership of about 2.5 million, says it has been losing about 30,000 members a year," while "A national survey conducted every 10 years http://www.glenmary.org/grc/grc_RCMS2000.htm by the Glenmary Research Center in Nashville http://www.glenmary.org/grc/default.htm shows that membership of mainline Protestant denominations http://www.vdare.com/gottfried/responds_031601.htm is dwindling." They're not dwindling because so many Americans have suddenly become atheists. The Post readily acknowledges the decline of mainline church membership is largely due to the conservatism of those leaving and the liberalism http://www.firstthings.com/ftissues/ft0102/public.html of the church establishments http://www.vdare.com/fulford/catholic_bishops.htm: "While older members are dying off, younger parishioners have been drawn to more conservative evangelical churches or have quit attending altogether." So what are thoroughly modern church leaders going to do? It doesn't seem to occur to them to alter their own liberalism. "To stem the losses," the Post reports, "Protestant churches, including the Presbyterians, have launched outreach campaigns directed at immigrants. National Presbyterian leaders want to increase minority membership to 10 percent by 2005 and 20 percent by 2020. The Presbyterian Church is now about 93 percent white, 3 percent black, 2.6 percent Asian and 1.2 percent Hispanic." Nevertheless, in the long run, immigration won't help the churches, let alone the country. It may save the churches as organizations and thereby put more meat on the platters of those who run them, but it won't bring the white Christians back. Race and culture affect no human institution more deeply than how people practice their religion. Language, music, ritual and even theology vary widely according to race and culture. But like many other truths about the human (and super-human) condition, that lesson seems to be lost on the liberal leadership of the churches, who are eager not only to support immigration as a national policy but also want to make their own churches as multicultural as possible. Whites who are comfortable worshipping in Swahili may like the new multicultural church into which their shepherds are herding them just fine, but my bet is that most won't. Yet whether they do or not, how the churches are using immigration is of interest. The churches use immigration in the same way that other failed institutions in American society are. Republicans and Democrats both compete for immigrants' votes as American voters yawn and stay home. One main reason that national elites not only tolerate but actually promote mass immigration is that they have totally failed to retain the loyalties of their own people. Immigrants help them stay leaders because they provide new followers. Americans who are not followers saw through the fakery of the liberal churches long ago. The same filthy phenomenon that makes them pander for the homo- and metrosexual trash.

I just wish all of these liberal-infested, Bible-mocking denominations would make everyone a big favor and die off already, instead of trying to avoid the inevitable with these kind of degenerate methods.

I even feel sorry for the souls of those hapless colored folks who might get drawn into these s##tholes.

Good article. I wonder how many Hispanics and Blacks (etc) will be attracted to the liberal version of Christianity anyway? The Shelby Spongs of the world will be waiting in vain for their nonwhite reinforcements. Julio and Jamal don't give a whit for homosexual inclusion or milquetoast Christianity. They are praying for winning lotto numbers, a better looking girlfriend and a miraculous healing of their diabetes.

It is the leadership of these churches who are liberal. The rank-and-file is much more conservative. However, except for perhaps the Lutherans, all the 'mainline' church members seem to forget to have more than a child or two. This is a difficult attitude to reconcile with strong anti-immigration feelings, at least as regards church membership. (--And, of course, this is the issue. These churches are not necessarily promoting immigration, just reaping from the crop that it already there!)

One can no longer look to these churches to preserve ethnic-racial identity. This may be all for the best, as they were never very good at it. By abandoning this task, these force white to be more conscious in their pursuit of racial goals.

So I would say Francis is a little off with this one. This is another sign of his desire to return to a past of 'conservative' values in a way that it is impossible. Yes, we need to be able to criticize the many excesses of homosexuals, feminists, and bleading hearts. But a return to 50's style white-but-not-explicitly-racial churches where Mom bakes cookies and chortles about the unfortunate ways of the black folk and the hippies... this is not going to happen!

Either there will new Christian churches set up that are explicitly racialist, with avowledly racialist members, but which keep most of the orthodox theology of the source Protestant church in question (e.g., PC-USA, Evangelical Lutheran, Episcopelian, DoC, etc.); or churches will simply reflect the evolving culture around us, whatever it may be. If it is racialist, it wont necessarily be particularly traditionalist. Might even involve embrace of genetic engineering, using dirt-poor 3rd world women as host wombs for careerist white women, etc.
