One was shot in a "Driveby" and another was killed in a car "accident".

Strange.

It sounds suspicious, and the Bush administration is certainly "evil" enough to pull this off. However, is the Bush administration competent enough to pull this off. They failed to plant any WMD whatsoever in Iraq.

When we invaded Iraq I though CIA crack troops would be airdropped into Iraq with WMD ahead of advancing troops. I thought it was a done deal.

If Bush can't even plant evidence amid the chaos of War, it sorts of puts all these other conspiracy theories in a different light.
... is the Bush administration competent enough to pull this off? They failed to plant any WMD whatsoever in Iraq.
True, and you got me thinking... Consider that Bush wouldn't be involved in the planning or implementation of anything covert. These folks learned their lesson during Iran-Contra. Through various 'channels', the people in his orbit (Wolfowitz? Perle?) and other unknown characters request a desired outcome and leave the details to (foreign) agents & agencies. For complete deniability, and also to keep him from blowing it, it's probable that Bush had no explicit knowledge of any of this.
When we invaded Iraq I though CIA crack troops would be airdropped into Iraq with WMD ahead of advancing troops. I thought it was a done deal.
I thought the same, but there's still plenty of access and time to plant credibility-enhancing components. All they have to show is some shade of 'intent'. They are playing to a public that 'wants to believe'. The reasons I belive that 'foreign' agency is involved is this: For all of their flaws the CIA, NSA and the FBI employ many people that believe they are US patriots. Extremely bright people, they are not dupes who could be easily compromised. It's much easier to contract out for the dirty work.
If Bush can't even plant evidence amid the chaos of War, it sorts of puts all these other conspiracy theories in a different light.
With still too few constants, it's a problem without a clear solution. We're speculating about the covert motives, methods & actions of people & organizations we completely distrust. We're left holding smoke. We try not to make more assumptions than the minimum needed (per Occam) but the motives & circumstances demand that patriots hammer this out.
