Southern Baptist Urges Homeschooling
recommending parents remove their children from what he calls "godless" and "anti-Christian" public schools

My local giant all-white Southern Baptist Church supports a local spanish-speaking church (illegal ingrates, I've never seen any of them visit to thank those who support them). They have an AIDS ministry, and other such dubious things.
They don't support a Boy Scouts chapter. They don't run a private grade school (they're plenty big and prosperous enough for this). They don't do anything that would more effectivly preserve the Christian/WASP culture of this country.
They fund their own destruction, following the path blazed by rapidly shrinking old-line denominations. At least the local Episcopal Church doesn't have "Casual Sunday" once every several months.

Well, I bet they have a McMansion parsonage for the preacher to live in, and pay him a salary that allows him and his air head wife to engage in ostentatious consumerism. I know these folks very well, being from rural Georgia. They are as shallow minded and vain as it gets. Only their master, Shecky, is more vile.

I hope their resolution doesn't pass. It would lower the overall academic excellence for all homeschool students. And I doubt it will, because the Baptists want to maintain a foothold in the government schools in order to put out their wraped dispensationalist propaganda to everyone else's kids too, just like the Jews do.

I think a misguided Baptist is still better than a pedophile-supporting catholic. If it's only a group's weakenesses constantly at OD, let's include all groups, not just Protestants.

I have a tendency to judge my own people a lot more harshly than others. Just a fault I have, or maybe it isn't a fault.
