Sam does it again. He names the enemy without actually even uttering the word "Jew". People who have any knowledge of the "Jewish Question" (or have heard of it) will instantaneously recognise what hes getting at.

Mr. Huntington, author of the acclaimed [url="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0684844419/VDARE"][color=#0000ff]Clash of Civilizations[/color][/url] a few years back, has already raised [url="http://www.discriminations.us/storage/002490.html"][color=#0000ff]ripples[/color][/url] in the placid ponds of elite opinion with his [url="http://www.foreignpolicy.com/story/cms.php?story_id=2495&print=1%5d"][color=#0000ff]article[/color][/url] on how mass Hispanic immigration undermines what he calls the cultural integrity of the nation's [url="http://www.vdare.com/asp/the_clash.htm"][color=#0000ff]"Anglo-Protestant core."[/color][/url]
The placid ponds, you see, don't think the [url="http://www.vdare.com/pb/proposition_nation.htm"][color=#0000ff]nation[/color][/url] has or should have any cultural core except what they permit and define, and [url="http://www.vdare.com/williamson/invasion_de_los_libr.htm"][color=#0000ff]"Anglo"[/color][/url] anything is definitely not permitted, any more than [url="http://www.vdare.com/gottfried/decay_Protestantism.htm"][color=#0000ff]Protestant[/color][/url], [url="http://www.vdare.com/letters/tl_123001.htm"][color=#800080]Catholic[/color][/url], or any other kind of [url="http://www.vdare.com/asp/contempt_bushman.htm"][color=#0000ff]Christian[/color][/url] identity. When a world-famous Harvard professor opposes mass immigration and defends the [url="http://www.vdare.com/letters/tl_042204.htm"][color=#0000ff]Anglo-Protestant[/color][/url] identity of his country, the pond knows he has to be muzzled before his ideas get out of Harvard Yard.
But if you can't muzzle him, you can at least ridicule and distort what he says, which is what Deborah Solomon did in an interview with Mr. Huntington in the New York Times magazine last Sunday. She didn't get away with it, but she did reveal a good many of her own preconceptions about immigration and race.
Mr. Huntington started off the interview with a brief summary of his thesisââ¬âthat more than half the immigrants coming into the country are Hispanic and speak "a [url="http://www.vdare.com/awall/conquistadors.htm"][color=#0000ff]single, non-English language[/color][/url]," and that this fact, coupled with other cultural characteristics, sets the stage for massive cultural, [url="http://www.vdare.com/awall/texas.htm"][color=#0000ff]political[/color][/url] and [url="http://www.vdare.com/asp/miami.htm"][color=#0000ff]racial[/color][/url] clashes.
Miss Solomon apparently had a lot of trouble understanding what he just said. "Doesn't America's greatness lie in its ability to [url="http://www.vdare.com/asp/no_assimilation.htm"][color=#0000ff]assimilate[/color][/url] all kinds of people?" she asked.
Mr. Huntington explained that the Founding Fathers were skeptical about letting just anyone into the country, to which Miss Solomon responds, "But we've welcomed [url="http://www.vdare.com/fulford/1894_1924.htm"][color=#0000ff]waves of immigrants[/color][/url] since," which is the same question she just asked. Mr. Huntington answered by affirming that "immigration has been central to American development." That didn't help.
Finally, Miss Solomon gets down to business. Her second question to Mr. Huntington was, **"Some of us find it surprising that a man like yourself, a [url="http://www.vdare.com/roberts/harvard_genocide.htm"][color=#0000ff]Harvard professor[/color][/url] and an eminent political scientist, would see the trend toward bilingualism as such a threat." **
Interesting. First, who is "us" exactly? And second, why are "we" so surprised somebody at Harvard and an eminent political scientist disagrees with "us"?
It couldn't possibly be because "we" are so [url="http://www.vdare.com/fulford/loyality.htm"][color=#0000ff]narrow-minded[/color][/url] and [url="http://fenstermoop.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_fenstermoop_archive.html#108354085050745037"][color=#0000ff]empty-headed[/color][/url], could it? It must be that Mr. Huntington is, well, driven by his own ethnic fears and resentments. Exposing this discovery is the business to which Miss Solomon finally applies her meager talents.
"Are you an immigrant?" she asks. "I hope you're not one of those [url="http://www.vdare.com/fulford/fdr_speech.htm"][color=#0000ff]Mayflower[/color][/url] snobs." You can be against immigration only if you're an immigrant, I guess. [color=#990000][VDARE.COM NOTE: If you're an [url="http://www.vdare.com/pb/anation_review_23.htm"][color=#0000ff]English immigrant,[/color][/url] however, you're in [url="http://www.vdare.com/letters/arianna_go_home.htm"][color=#0000ff]deep trouble[/color][/url].] [/color]If you're not for mass immigration and worry about the cultural identity of the country, you must be a **"snob." **
Mr. Huntington says his family goes back to [url="http://www.colonialwarsct.org/1633.htm"][color=#0000ff]1633[/color][/url]. Well, sounds like Miss Solomon is on the right track.
"Did you grow up in a WASP-y mansion in [url="http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=8221"][color=#0000ff]Connecticut[/color][/url] with [url="http://www.vdare.com/asp/public_health.htm"][color=#0000ff]servants[/color][/url]?" she asks. By now, what's clear is that Miss Solomon treads a little ethnic water of her own. Maybe that's the reason she doesn't like peopleââ¬âespecially WASP-y Mayflower snobsââ¬âcriticizing immigration.
"Do you think that there is any truth to the stereotypical view of [url="http://web.archive.org/web/19980423041549/http:/www.booknotes.org/transcripts/10026.htm"][color=#0000ff]WASP's[/color][/url] as emotionally cold people?" she asks. At this point, Mr. Huntington might have simply smacked her face and walked out, but, being a Mayflower snob, he didn't.
What if Miss Solomon interviewed Jesse Jackson and asked, "Do you think there is any truth to the [url="http://olimu.com/WebJournalism/Texts/Commentary/Stereotypes.htm"][color=#0000ff]stereotypical[/color][/url] views of blacks as stupid, lazy, and violent?" I'll bet she would have a great career as a pizza delivery girl. But regurgitating negative stereotypes of "WASPs" is OK.
There is a good deal more to what Samuel Huntington has to say than Miss Solomon's pitiful little zingers managed to elicit, and what he says is not always right, but, as mentioned above, finding out what he thinks and why wasn't really the point of the interview at all.
The point was to expose Mr. Huntington as a "WASP," a "Mayflower snob," which apparently means someone proud of his own ethnic and cultural identity who wishes to preserve the country and civilization his [url="http://www.vdare.com/pb/pressure.htm"][color=#0000ff]ancestors created,[/color][/url] and therefore, his case against mass immigration need not be taken seriously.
If we learn anything at all from Miss Solomon's insulting but revealing interview, it is that she and the "us" to whom she reports don't like that identity one little bit and believe that if mass immigration wipes it and the people who created it out of existence, that would be terrific.

It's amazing that Jews can put their ethnic hatreds on display so brazenly and not only not be called on it, but to not even have their statements identified for what they are. We now have a two-pronged attack by Jewish supremacists at work in the mass media: Jewish "liberals" who specialize in attacking white Americans, and Jewish "conservatives" who specialize in hating the rest of the world. And when their hatreds are analyzed by somebody in the mass media, it has to be done through subtle innuendo (i.e. Francis nudging the reader by asking who "us" and "them" are to Ms. Solomon) with a lot of plausible deniability worked in.[/QUOTE] AY,

For his all immense learning, Huntington probably has no idea what he's up against here.
In any dealings with the Jew, reasoned discourse is a waste of time.
Logic, argument, persuation, rhetoric -- all of the constructs that civilized people use to dialog with each other -- are useless when engaged in debate with the Jew, who Schopenhauer rightly called The Great Master of the Lie.
The Jew only understands one langauge -- and the sooner we begin speaking it, the better.

Solomon's act of uttering stereotypical ideas proves that no matter what the Establishment tells you, stereotypes are everywhere and are not relegated to non-Whites. Of course, Jewish disgust of Anglo-Protestant culture and ideals is so potent you can cut it with a knife ("Like buttah," said the nasal Jewess...). Maybe it would serve Solomon right if Huntington said what Francis had suggested. It would be a perfect addition to the man (whose name I don't recall) who told a female reporter that she was "fully equipped to be a prostitute". In America, it is acceptable and encouraged to openly describe Anglo-Protestantism as "snobbish" and "cold" (read: [B]White[/B] ), and no group does it with sheer contempt than Jews.
