Boosh will be celebrating after he campaigns in some Midwestern states and Kohn-Kerry will be at a Mexifornian school. Arriba!
(CdM isn't even an American holiday yet apparently it has become one because of all the Mexicans who live here now. Just another example of American stupidity.) :dung:

The local Giant supermarket has big posters in its windows advising us all to celebrate cinco de mayo. Inside, the PR system intersperses taped joyous pseudo-historical paeans to this Mexican holiday between boring music and calls for more cashiers to report to the checkout counters. And this is in a rural northeastern area where spixicans are, thankfully, rare. Obviously this nonsense was dictated by the regional management, which apparently takes it for granted that everyplace in Occupied amerika is just chock-full of lovely cucarachas.
As you'd expect, the management wasn't at all interested in hearing my objections.

Why should Americans be celebrating the defeat of the French at the hands of the Mexicans? I resent this heavyhanded attempt at shoving a foreign, anti-European holiday down our collective throats.
