Those photos made me terribly sad and sick to my stomach.
In each photo, that was someone's father, mother, brother, daughter, son, etc.
But let's not forget one thing -- what these Arabs would do to us and our families without hesitation were the positions reversed.

Maybe, but then that only proves we're no better than them. But besides that, the pics are a major propaganda coup for the enemy - proves we're truly the "Great Satan."

I hadn't seen most of those photos yet, as if the ones I had seen weren't vile enough. Anyway, here is an email I wrote to my very religious father, who voted for Bush last time but now is starting to wonder if he might literally have cast a ballot for the "Antichrist," and which expresses my thoughts on this subject about as deeply as I care to delve into them at this time:

The above link will take you to a couple dozen photos (just give them about a minute to load before scrolling down, or they might not all load properly) of Iraqi men being subjected to what can only be described as weird, sado-masochistic, "homoerotic" torture. There are also several pictures of Iraqi women being raped. The resistance that this will inspire will clearly make the prediction of that one fellow on the radio come true, about how so many foreign fighters will come to Iraq and defeat us. What it further makes clear is that the defeat and general massacre of our soldiers in Iraq, while unfortunate, is probably the best possible outcome at this stage of history. America is basically finished as any sort of real country now (not just because we did these things, but more importantly, because nothing is being done about it and thus its clearly going to continue and get worse) and deserves the same contempt that regimes like the Soviet Union earned (thanks to the Internet, we get to learn how despicable our regime is a little more quickly). At this late date, any decent person should probably be preparing to dance on the grave of a country ("UniStat," as I like to call it, 'cause it sure ain't the United States) that has overstayed its welcome. We're like the miserable, ****ing Turks now; "American" is going to become a term that people use to insult each other, much like the ethnic/national derivation of such derogatory terms as "Hun" and "Barbarian."

I really hate to get melodramatic, but from this date on, I plan to shout "Hail the Great Satan!," every time the Pledge of Allegiance is said in my presence. I'm probably going to get my ass kicked eventually, but since this is the Bay Area, it'll take years....

Those rape pics don't look legitimate. It looks like that site has taken the recent "torture" pics and merged them with others.

The photos just get your blood boiling, irrespective of their authenticity. We've all always known what our lumpen proletariat, neo-mercenaries were doing to the young ladies of Iraq....
