[SIZE=3][B]Williams Acquitted on Manslaughter Charge [/B] [/SIZE]
SOMERVILLE, N.J. - Former NBA star Jayson Williams was acquitted Friday of the most serious charge against him, aggravated manslaughter. The jury said it could not agree on the charge of reckless manslaughter.
Williams, 36, was convicted on four of the six lesser charges, related to tampering with evidence and attempting to cover up the shooting death of limousine driver Costas "Gus" Christofi, 55. Collectively, the charges carry a maximum penalty of 13 years in prison.
The defense argued that the shooting was accidental, saying a malfunction in the gun's firing mechanism caused the weapon to go off. Prosecutors contended Williams was handling the shotgun so recklessly that it amounted to a crime.
The shooting happened Feb. 14, 2002, while Williams gave friends and members of the Harlem Globetrotters a tour of his mansion in Alexandria Township.
According to testimony, Williams, who had a skeet-shooting range on his 65-acre estate, took a loaded shotgun from a cabinet in the master bedroom. He turned, uttered an expletive at Christofi, possibly in jest, and then snapped the weapon shut, and it went off, according to testimony.
Christofi was struck in the chest and died within minutes. Williams dropped to his knees and wailed, "Oh my God! Oh my God!" and "My life is over," according to witnesses.

I'm touched by his concern for Christofi. Oh wait, no I'm not.

We all know this utterance of an expletive would be de facto evidence of a "hate crime" were the races reversed in this incident.

Am listening to sports-talk radio this afternoon and you would not [I]believe [/I] the parade of invertebrates calling in to offer nervous-nellie praise for this decision: "I think it's fair, after all it was an accident"; "Maybe something positive will come from this - nothing positive could come out of Jayson rotting away in jail"; and my favorite, "He isn't a criminal, he didn't [I]mean [/I] for the gun to go off".
All of these callers were white, I'm sad to say. You have to laugh at Negroes blaring 'racism' after witnessing Wichita-wannabes like this volunteering their PIN numbers and pointing out a nice secluded spot to their carjackers from the back seat of the car.
This is all different if you're a white guy who kills someone while driving drunk, though. Of course, no drunk [B]intends [/B] to hit anyone; it's [B]always [/B] an accident; and a few years locked up don't really help the drunk contribute anything "positive" to society....but see how much that helps [I]you[/I], white man. Better hire a few duskies at ten bucks a pop to sit in the front row and pretend to be your "loved ones" at the trial, just to offset the damning absence of melanin and help sway the jury.
The most sickening aspect of this? White Americans will be jockeying each other out of position to consign Gus Christoffi to the dustbin in the race to prove that I Am Not A Racist. That weird loner over there, maybe, and those yahoos down South, sure; but not [I]us[/I]. Never us. No matter how many Negro murderers we have to champion to prove it!

Whew! It's a good thing Jayson Williams didnt go to jail. Where would we find another thuggish, uneducated black man who was good at basketball to step into the huge void he would leave in American culture? :wink:

I think it's a safe bet that there was a high nigmonkey quotient in that "jury".
The revolting "white" niggerball addicts who're "relieved" for this shotgun-blasting ape are the same ones who take up for Bryant the Shit-Hued Rapist. It makes me want to spew when I hear the fawning scum call them "Jayson" & "Kobe" like they're old pals.

Excellent point Zut Alors. Strict DWI laws are specifically aimed at White men. I don't even go out any more because I'm so afraid of the scumbag cops whose only goal is to f*ck your life up.

After the O.J. verdict almost nine years ago, it has become common law that any black athlete accused of a crime where the victim is preferably White will get off.

Around here, even if you aren't at the DUI limit, cops will still call you"impaired" and screw you over on that charge. That is, if you aren't part of some culture group with a strong lobby...or if you don't have political connections. Justice is dying in the US.
