This man is the Libertarian front runner. Its virtually automatic he will be the nominee. I heard him live on http://www.realityradio1320.com a couple weeks ago. The host ( Jack Blood ) http://www.jackblood.com only wanted callers who challenged him. Jack btw is leaning towards supporting Russo. So am I . Consider this candidate. If the election were today, he would have my vote. http://www.russoforpresident.com

Russo says: "I will bring our troops home from every corner of the globe. I'll revoke the patriot act, I'll cut taxes, cut spending, I'll cut the size of government. I'll stop corporate welfare. I'll engage all nations in trade and commerce. I'll protect our air and water, and I'll protect our borders, but most importantly I will protect our Constitution and Bill of Rights."

Sounds pretty good to me. :thumbsup:

'Where is the gold owned by the American people? Neither party will address this issue and we need answers.'

From Russo's web page.

Definetly a winning issue.... I suppose he figures that cutting spending is about as relevant to the average voter as this kind of gold-standard in-crowd rhetoric.

I'm all for a gold standard, but I could do without this sort of slock--it sound like something you'd put on the back of a 'FDR was a Jew' conspiracy theory book.

But, hey, if he is in favor of protecting our borders, I'll vote for him.

Me too. Immigration is the only issue that matters to me. Tax rates, education policy, even the war - all far distant issues to the ethnic disaster we're facing.
Russo says: "I will bring our troops home from every corner of the globe. I'll revoke the patriot act, I'll cut taxes, cut spending, I'll cut the size of government. The Libertarians are committed to limited government, which is more than I can say for the Gang Of Prostitutes, but they have some very irresponsible policies on issues liek abortion and drugs.

The Libertarians are right about one thing, however.

The Bush Administration, with a Republican Congress, has given us:

The largest entitlement program in almost 40 years, one which already has costs much higher than it was projected to cost at the time it was passed;

A campaign finance law that prohibits citizens from getting together to criticize any official within 60 days of an election;

A de facto amnesty for illegal aliens;

Stem cell research;

The largest, most profligate agricultural bill in anyone's memory;

The largest, most profligate education bill in anyone's memory, and with no school choice or merit pay provisions;

An 8.3 percent annual increase in discretionary domestic spending (that is nonentitlement, nondefense.)

What it does not do, in my view, is make a good case for why conservatives of any stripe should vote for Kerry. Does anyone believe that Kerry and the Democrats would be any better in terms of spending? No, both parties are profligate, and Kerry has promised to repeal part of the tax cut and is weaker on national security than Bush is.

If conservatives want to vote for a genuinely conservative candidate, they should check out the Constitution Party at www.constitutionparty.com or check out the leading candidate for its nomination, Michael Peroutka, at www.peroutka2004.com/
