Who to believe? How about Jesus?
John 8: 42-44

"Jews told me to do this or else they would kill me."
"The army was also asked to explain why it had TV cameras ready at the roadblock more than two hours before the event.
Despite two hours of waiting, the army failed to provide an answer. "

This smells, no, reeks like a PR stunt.
After using three million-dollar Hellfire missiles to get one old blind guy in a wheelchair (who says Jews aren't tough, uber-warriors?), I think the IDF needed a stunt to show that hey, they're actually very "compassionate" fellas after all.
Do they really expect us to believe that troops that routinely snipe eight-year-olds playing in the street are going to take the time to "talk down" a kid strapped with TNT or would they just blast him where he stood? I think we all know the answer.
It's also funny how they did have a camera ready and rolling, but only after the kid supposedly tried to blow himself up.
Apparently, it hasn't played very well though. I've only seen a couple of stories on it. The Yassin fallout has still overshadowed it.
Speaking of which, the U.S. issued another one of its rubber-stamp vetoes of a UN resolution condemning blowing up the quadraplegic. Goes to show just how slavishly tied we are to the SLC when a resolution that means absolutely bupkus in the real world is still shot down with extreme prejudice.
