America in 2050: Another country

In 1960, when JFK defeated Nixon, America was a nation of 160 million, 90 percent white and 10 percent black, with a few million Hispanics and Asians sprinkled among us.

We were one nation, one people. We worshipped the same God, spoke the same English language, studied American history and English literature, honored the same heroes, read the same books, watched the same TV shows, went to the same movies, and saw ourselves as defenders of Western Civilization against the godless communism of the Soviet Empire.

We were confident and proud of who we were. When Nikita Khrushchev demanded an apology for our having sent a U-2 spy plane over Russia, Ike blew up the Paris summit rather than accede to his demand. We cheered the old general's defiance.

That was yesterday. But due to the Immigration Act of 1965 and the cultural revolution of the '60s, that America is now gone forever. And as one studies the latest projections of the Census Bureau, the America of our grandchildren will be another country altogether, a nation unrecognizable to our parents, a giant Brazil of the North.

In 2050, there will be three times as many people living here as in 1960 – 420 million. White Americans will be a minority, 49 percent, and falling. Hispanics in the United States, over 100 million, will be equal to the entire population of Mexico today. Our Asian population will be almost as large as our African-American population today.

By countries of origin, America will be a Third World nation. Our cities will look like Los Angeles today. Los Angeles and the cities of Texas, Arizona and California will look like Mexico City.

When we all belong to "minorities," what will hold us together? With the rise of group rights and identity politics, we are already falling out and falling apart over racial preferences and ethnic entitlements.

In the 1990s, for the first time since the Spanish arrived, the white population of California fell. White flight has begun. The white majority, voting with its feet, is ceding the Golden State to Hispanic and Asian immigrants.

Writing in Foreign Policy, Harvard Professor Samuel Huntington, author of "Who We Are," raises an alarm about the huge infusion of Hispanics into the Southwest, and for many reasons.

Much of this mass immigration is illegal. Vast numbers are coming here only to work. They are not assimilating. They do not want to become Americans. They are concentrating in states bordering Mexico, which is their country and a nation with a historic grievance against us. They are holding on to their language and culture, creating a Hispanic nation within our nation. By 2050, there will be scores of millions of people living here whose loyalty is to a foreign country.

Moreover, as multiculturalism has captured our schools and colleges, immigrant children will have prejudices and grievances against America and the West reinforced as they learn. The academic elite that controls these schools already paints America as a nation with a rancid history of genocide, slavery, racism, oppression and imperialism.

As immigrant children grow up, who will teach them to love and cherish America? Will they not come to exhibit that same sullen hostility to our country we see erupting at soccer games with Mexico today? There, Mexican fans, whether in the Los Angeles Coliseum or in Guadalajara, curse our players, shout down our national anthem and chant "Osama! Osama!" when the Mexican team scores.

Is the Census Bureau future the future Americans wish? Are they willing to risk it for their grandchildren? No and no are the answers.

Why, then, does that future appear inevitable?

Answer: Though a majority of Americans wish to preserve the land they grew up in for their children, our elites – political, academic, cultural and corporate – are either unwilling to conserve that America, or are indifferent to its disappearance, or long for its death.

A majority of Americans want immigration cut back and all illegal aliens sent back. Why is the will of the majority, expressed in polls and referenda, not reflected in law or policy? Because we no longer live in a democratic republic. We are ruled by a managerial elite.

America's corporate elites want an endless supply of cheap labor. Our judges throw out popularly enacted laws to which they object. Our academic elites work to see "white, racist America" disappear. Our neo-Marxist cultural elites wish to be the gravediggers of the West and of Christian culture. And America's conservative party, the Republican Party, believes Hispanics hold the key to retention of presidential power, and is desperately anxious not to offend Vicente Fox.

If, by 2050, the America we grew up in has become a Tower of Babel of squabbling minorities that is falling apart, it will be because of the treason of the elites, and our lack of will to overthrow them.

In the fifteen years before the American Civil War, most Texans, who had become U.S. citizens after 1845, joined with other southerners in favoring the annexation and U.S. statehood of nearby tropical lands—northern Mexican states like Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Tamaulipas, and even Yucatan, together with Cuba and possibly Nicaragua.

The goal was both political and economic. Once incorporated into the United States, these lands would become slave-owning societies—only Spanish Cuba still allowed slavery in 1860—managed by Anglo southerners. Besides the sugar, rice, tobacco, fruits, and coffee that could be grown there, southern investors also coveted the region’s railroad routes and mines.

Even more important, four to six new slave states would have sent enough new U.S. senators and congressmen to Washington to counter the growing northern strength in Congress.

Even though they came to naught, these earlier efforts revealed what would prove to be ongoing agenda for Texan elites: Texas, from the first, has been impelled by economic geography to pursue some control over Mexico’s resources and workforce.

With George H. W. Bush as president, Texas resumed this ambition, this time through the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Much as northern and labor critics predicted, the first decade of NAFTA produced a major realignment of US-Mexican industrial and trade relationships. The old trade surplus in favor of the United States, based on American firms selling manufactured goods below the Rio Grande, vanished—as US companies set up low-cost subsidiaries in the northern Mexico maquiladora districts. Automobiles, machinery, electronics, apparel, and furniture—previously manufactured in the United States but now made in Mexico by US companies employing $1.50 an hour labor—began flowing back to U.S. consumers.

From a trade deficit of $1.7 billion in 1993, Mexico rocketed to a trade surplus of $23 billion with the United States in 2001 and $31 billion in 2002. Save for the packaging materials sold to the Mexican plants to facilitate the return of finished goods, the only net US export gains came in agribusiness and bulk commodities such as cereals and organic chemicals.

Sam Houston, who had advocated a protectorate over Mexico on the floor of the US senate in 1858, never lived to see it. But NAFTA fulfilled some of the Tejano ambitions.

By the late twentieth century, Texas cultural and economic biases, advanced by presidents and members of Congress, had also impressed themselves on national labor law, immigration control and environmental policy. Over the years, Texas big business has always wanted low-cost labor—workers for the state’s warehouses, sweatshops, crop fields, domestic service, and sales counters. Local industries, some of them refugees from northern taxes, regulation, and unions, thrived on both low wages and taxes kept down by minimal public services.

In addition to laws inimical to unions, the proven Texas solution for keeping down labor costs down has been importing Mexican workers—either illegal immigrants or temporary guest workers brought in under the pre-1964 “bracero” program. Their presence in the Texas labor market also applied downward pressure on other wages. Many employers preferred the illegals, who were compliant as well as cheap. As governor, George W. Bush opposed efforts to deny undocumented [VDARE.COM protest: ILLEGAL!] aliens public education and health care, but compassion was hardly the paramount, motive: Low-wage labor was simply too important to discourage.

Arguably, taxpayer-provided services were a public subsidy of sorts to the farmers, ranchers, and business owners who employed the illegal workers. It was no coincidence that within weeks of his 2001 inauguration as president, Bush president endorsed a harsh labor agenda—less regulation of workplace safety, relaxation of rules against the federal government doing business with companies that violate labor laws, and permission for states to opt out of minimum-wage increases. The AFL-CIO’s national political director was moved to remark that “George Bush makes Ronald Reagan look like Mother Jones.”

As the nation’s leading energy producer, Texas has been responsible for some of the nation’s worst environmental problems, notably air pollution—Houston overtook Los Angeles as the smoggiest US city in 1999–and hazardous wastes in the chemical districts alongside the Houston Ship Channel. Dozens of books, reports, and special studies weighed the impact of George W. Bush’s environmental policies as governor—ending in a broad disagreement over whether Bush had made things worse or had simply perpetuated the odorous status quo.

Bush seems to have viewed privatization as panacea for solving government problems. He tried to use the threat of it to challenge the giant, incurably liberal University of Texas in Austin, and to pare the cost of Texas’ social welfare administration. In both initiatives he failed—in the latter case because of opposition from the Clinton administration. But in the area of state environmental regulation Bush got his wish, turning over the crafting of environmental rules to the folks who ran polluting industries.

This set the stage for similar privatization initiatives once Bush got to Washington. Bush’s proposed “Temporary Worker” program even privatizes the U.S. border, granting American businesses the power to sponsor immigrants into the U.S. through the simple expedient of posting a minimum wage job on a web site, waiting for Americans to ignore the paltry offer, then importing foreigners to take the work.

Texas, in short, is an unusual American state. The Texas elite’s economic and cultural preferences are not necessarily those of the nation as a whole.

There was a "Foreword to American Negroes" and, again, the positive alternative to race strife - Repatriation - was offered as the solution.

Earnest Sevier Cox became a legend on April 26, 1966, when he died in Richmond. He was burred at Arlington National Cemetery on April 28, his body being borne to the grave on a cassion pulled by six horses following a military band.

But seriously, our problems are much larger than the Tribe. As this VDARE article points out, the Southern aristocracy had its own imperial ambitions that included extending slavery to countries that had already rid themselves of it. Of course, it is freely admitted that the plutocrats in the North had similar, but largely uncomplementary, designs. And thus the Great Train Wreck.

Our problem is that we're run by a small group that always viewed themselves as a race apart. The fact that they got all entertwined with the Jews and their seething hatred for the other 99% of humanity only exacerbated our own native elites' feelings of isolation and superiority.

The Tribe makes things a thousand times worse, but it was always a problem.

You know, I started reading "Slaughter of the Cities" which lays the blame for the destruction of Irish, Polish, Italian and other ethnic neighborhoods in the great cities of the North at the doorstep of the dwindling Yankee aristocracy (especially the remnant of the Quakers in Philadelphia). Carroll Quigley exposed the WASP elites thoroughly in the 1960's.

The thing is though, that the problem got much, much worse when the young Jews that led the anti-war movement of the 1960's finally succeeded in toppling Nixon in 1973. This was followed by their takeover of the boardrooms of our great corporations in the 1980's (Barbarians at the Gate).

Even when being a total gentleman pacificist like Zundel was kidnapped in Tennensse U.S.A. and is now held in brutal conditions in Canada of all place's, if they physically tortured MR. Zundel in his health state he would most likely die in a day or two, at most... What's the up side, be a gentleman and lady and wake up folks. Perhaps there should not be any criticism of the NKVD crowd at all, we should be like them perhaps?

Well, in fact Texas is a big part of the problem. I should know, i live here. Go into any suburban neighborhood and what do you see ? Messican labor working the yards. Go to ANY restaurant in Dallas or Houston and look in the kitchen, all messican with mostly white managers (usually). Same for contruction crews and so on. Just like kali, they will slowly take over the communities and then the state legislature.

The monied interests in Texas and other Southern states are among the leading causes of our immigration problems.

I could not agree with you more, my brother. It's the same here in Georgia, with the difference being that SOME rural abodes are SO FAR relatively free of the materialistic pestilence foisted upon us by the monied Jew pawn elite of Atlanta. The good news is that most folks know that something is terribly wrong. In fact, great strides were made in the last election toward kicking out the Democrap criminal gang in state government who have long appealed to our bodily and emotional appitites with the one hand, and cleverly sold our treasure and our souls to worshippers of the Golden Calf with the other.

The bad news is that The Folks have had their thinking abilities slowly adled by government, so called, education, and the expectation of their daily bread from the guilded tables of the corporate and governmental elite to the point that they can't comprehend who the enemy is, nor what it is exactly that the enemy is doing to them. They are now merely a facade of the free men that they could and should be. More bad news is that the Repukes that The Folks used to finally rise up and kick the old band of gangsters to the curb with promptly showed that they too have been bought out for a mess of pottage by the criminal Pharisee elite minions of the boardrooms of downtown Atlanta.

The way I see it, Josey, is that what needs to be done is a whole lot of one on one education out there in the midst of The Folks. Also, a sizable amount of business should be done with the manufacturers of ink jet cartriges and printer paper. Maybe we get through to only, at most, 1 in 4 of The Folks. But you know, it takes only about 10% of a given population to be truely dedicated to a cause to bring about revolutionary change. It just needs to begin sooner rather than later because, speaking for myself, genocide is a terrible, soul blackening thing that should be avoided if at all possible, and still restore our God, our culture, and lastly, our race to their rightful place on our sacred soil.

Sure, I know that people probably don't often vocalize as shown above. I also know that small farms dependent on cheap labor are less important now than in the past. The reality that I'm trying to point out with the above two statements is that the pressures on Americans to have more children in post-American America and thus, as a natural result, to grow the country from within--which strengthens a nation--have been replaced with an easy; in the short term, alternative, in the form of stoop labor provided by illegal aliens.

Today, at least on the surface, it appears that in post-American America we are developing an effete class of citizens who are getting too lazy to even mow their own lawns; or perhaps a more accurate statement would be that many citizens are doing cost vs. benefits analysis of things such as mowing their lawns. The thought process goes something like: "Why mow my own lawn, when I can just sit here and watch TV, and pay an illegal alien a few bucks to do the job for me?" Multiply that thought process millions of times in our society and you see why we have a "need" for illegal alien labor used to Third World wages, in a First World nation.

One of the long term problems with this dependence on illegal alien labor is that as the years go by, the higher breeding illegal aliens--who, in addition to religious reasons, do believe that more births bring in more wage earners to the family, as Americans used to believe--will start replacing the original citizens in all niches of society. This is inevitably so, because the illegal aliens are outbreeding the original citizens.

In the past, the waves of immigrants to this nation were pretty much genetically all the same. So when the Irish or the Italians, for example, came to these shores with their higher breeding populations than the existing English who had come earlier, the new immigrants easily blended in with the earlier immigrants with no major genetic dissonance or changes to the gene pool and the population. Europeans were Europeans. They were all closely related and their differences were mostly found in artificial national cultures, which were blended away in America in favor of a plain wrap European on a new continent.

Today, the waves of immigrants coming here, who have transformed American into post-American America, are often genetically very different from the Europeans who came to these shores. These immigrants--mainly millions of illegal aliens--are mostly mestizos or Indians from the lands south of the U.S. They are not genetically the same as the Europeans, and a blending of them with the Europeans means, given the higher birth rates of these new arrivals, the genocide of European genes, if current immigration trends continue.

The reality of history is that the United States became the most powerful nation on Earth because it was originally a new Europe. It was full of Europeans who were unchained from centuries of national small mindedness and world views that had strangled the creative juices and energies in the old Europe. It was if the collective life force of the European people had abandoned Europe and shifted to America.

In recent years, it has been PC to try to avoid saying that genes or Europeans or European genes have anything to do with anything good, and it has become common to try to elevate the importance of the contributions to the U.S. of non-Europeans who also came here. Of course, there were always non-Europeans in the U.S., but up until recently the dominant strain was European.

Now, a people--a genetic people--acts, in the larger sense, as the unique genes of that people dictate when faced with various factors in the environment as surely as certain types of ants will act as their genes determine. Take something as pedestrian as basketball as a quick example of this. Why is basketball dominated by blacks? They didn't invent the game. They didn't make the rules. So, why do they dominate the sport? The answer isn't, as some aracial conservative whites like to say, that they work hard to develop their skills, but that they were born with these skills. In other words, their genes gave them the skills needed to excel in this and various other sports requiring certain physical traits and abilities. Some lefties have tried to ridicule this notion by saying there is no basketball gene. Of course there isn't. But there are genes for jumping and running ability and the various other tasks required in basketball. Even the most brain dead among us must ultimately come to the conclusion that genes matter in sports.

However, when we switch from sports to more subtle and intangible things such as society and nation building, we often run up against a brick wall of bigotry in trying to explain that people build those types of societies and cultures that are a result of their particular adaptations to the environment as determined by their genes. In other words, people may think that their free will gives them unlimited choices, but in reality their genes not only predispose people to certain activities but they also predispose people to have certain likes and dislikes and ideas of what just seems right to them. People then automatically act in accord with their genes. When they don't, it is often because they are insane.

There's a reason why 98% white New Hampshire is virtually crime free and why areas with large non-white populations are full of crime. PC types will blame drugs and various other factors for the high crime rates rather than looking at genes, but in fact, the nature of every society is determined by the people who live in that society, and those people are who they are because of their genes.

We might say that just as basketball prowess is a reflection of black genes, so to was America (up until recent years) a reflection of European genes.

If all of this sounds racist, by which was meant, originally, racial hatred, but which lately means saying anything that indicates the races of man are different from each other, then I would suggest it is time we get over negative, mind dulling name calling and start looking at reality once again. It's time we get rid of our age's equivalent of the Sacred Cow of an earlier age that held that people were evil if they said that the Earth wasn't the center of the universe. The truth is the truth, even if some want to deny it. Genes matter.

If America is going to survive, we need to understand reality and not hide from it, and we need to discuss genes and racial matters that make many people uncomfortable. Genes do matter. They matter in sports ability and they matter in nation building ability. If you change the genes, you change the sports ability and you change the nation building ability. America became a nation where millions of people want to come to live because of a certain recipe that made this nation a great place.

The main ingredient in that recipe was genes. Change the proportion of the various genes in that recipe and you change the nation as surely as you change a cake by changing the proportions of ingredients in the cake recipe.

By and large excellent points, and mostly irrefutable. With the possible exception of Pat's statment from the original article:

This shows 'Ol Pat hasn't been to CA. for awhile. Ceding hell, "has ceded" would be more accurate. I was forced to visit Orange County recently, you know the area which is home to the "magic kingdom", and forget seeing a white face you can barely even find a place where english is spoken.

It has been well, and long, known that LA was a lost cause, but it's looking more and more like the entire state has been overrun, and the local authorities have extended the "don't ask - don't tell" policy which ruined all of LA County to the rest of the state.

And all the signs in spanish, billboards advertising state funded services for pre-natal care, and childrens health care or insurance, and free childrens lunch programs.

Yep...Your tax dollars at work, and yet they say there is no such thing as a free lunch. You could'a fooled me.

As for paragraphs, I do not know what is wrong, I will seek out advice. My keyboard must have a program problem as it will not produce what I write when it is posted. When I write an e-mail or word perfect, it works fine. Yes, I will have to find a way to correct the problem..
