Racial and Ethnic trends: Black women and men suffer from the highest rates of domestic violence. "Black females experienced domestic violence about 22 times the rate of women of other races. Black males experienced domestic violence at a rate about 22 times the rate of men of other races." [1]

But Bowtie says we're all the same, and so does RCJr, and so does Sandlin, and so does Bahnsen, and so does Frame, and so does North, and so does DOCTOR Francis Nigel Lee, and so does Olasky, and so does Falwell, and so does Robertson, and so does Sean Hannity, and so does Jew Howard Stern, and so does Larry Flynt, and so does Brittney Spears, and so does President Bush, and so does Jacques Chirac, and so does Peter Jennings, and so does Allan Greenspan, and so does Mike Tyson, and so does Jew Murray Rothbard, and Jew Murray Rothstein, and so does Arab Joe Farah, and so does Jew Michael Weiner, and so does Jew Michael Eisner, and so does Jew Larry King, and so does, well... and so does nearly every one you can name. The only problem for Christians is, you can't put Christ in that list, and you can't put Paul in that list. But you CAN put the "historical Jesus" in that list. You know him, the Stoic philosopher the Biblical minimalists assure us is the authentic Jesus. And the "reformed" church agrees.

The equality of Man seems an odd point of contact between so many "disparate" figures. Or are they so disparate? Seems to me they share a few unspoken presuppositions, the most important of which is don't take that Bible crap too seriously. Everything in moderation, just as the hallowed Greeks instructed us.

I find it funny when the entire ecumenical community is preaching the same message as Ole Red John Lennon, "All you need is love!". And with the very culturally engaging worship of Prophet Bono, what else would one expect? "In the name of love! One more in the name of love!" What is this love, anyway? Why, it is the illusion of similitude. You know, 'Judge not'. Or 'Love Thy neighbor as thyself'. Or 'he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone'. Jesus = Bono. Hey, isn't Jesus relevant! A regular Che Guevara that Jesus. All you need to do is take a handful of Jesus "wisdom sayings" out of context, interpret the entire body of scripture through them and voila! Jesus = Michael King. This is the alchemy of equality.
