I fully agree with the intent that Turcish membership should be blocked. Turkey is not a part of Europe, either geographically, or ethnically, or culturally.
That said, I absolutely recommend against websites like http://www.noturkishmembership.com/ for a large variety of reasons that should be discussed here because they are instructive. In no particular order:
*Why is a site in German called noturkishmembership.com? Could they not think of a German title?
*Bad German ("Er regt sich übrigens noch darüber auf das er nicht als Deutscher akzeptiert wird") is, for obvious reasons, very destructive on a site whose intention is to preserve Germany for Germans.
*Exceeding stupidity in the choice of arguments (expressing the hope that an earthquake is soon to destroy Istanbul) will not endear readers of average or higher intelligence to the site.
*The general tone of the site is such as to predictably move any fence-sitters that may happen to visit to a stance MORE FAVORABLE toward any and all policies the authors of the site oppose.
All the problems with WN in a nutshell.
*Why is a site in German called noturkishmembership.com? Could they not think of a German title?
I am not a german nationalist, and I have nothing against the use of English mixed with German. Itôs not a Germany for Germans site. It is a site for paneuropean nationalism. I will soon create a new website in different languages.
*Bad German ("Er regt sich übrigens noch darüber auf das er nicht als Deutscher akzeptiert wird") is, for obvious reasons, very destructive on a site whose intention is to preserve Germany for Germans.
Okay, such things should really not happen.
*Exceeding stupidity in the choice of arguments (expressing the hope that an earthquake is soon to destroy Istanbul) will not endear readers of average or higher intelligence to the site.
Thats radikal, but not stupid. It is no argument, it is a hope. That we hope for an earthquake can show how much we are against membership. Maybe I think about, to make the website less emotional :).
