Edwards or Bush in a best case scenario; what really changes? Not much.
On the plus side for Bush: he has made the country stronger militarily and taken care of a buildup of nuclear weapons worldwide, at least symbolically. I don't think he will be able to stop the flood after the next generation of weapons manufacturing tools are unleashed (stuff that will make chasing down centrifuge parts an irrelevant skill).
On the negative side: NWO agenda.
On the plus side of Edwards: "nicer" domestic policy.
