Dunno how the Alexas have been trending but I'm assuming more traffic is still the goal here.
Well, I also notice (in the Welcome thread) that many new registers are saying that they are happy to find a site that will expose and condemn neoconservatism (which as we all know gets shovelled out as holy writ via mainstream media).... yet they cannot post in Neo Con Watch.
It might behoove you to maybe tabulate how many new regs who explicitly cite an anti-neo leaning are one and two-time posters who sort of drift away in short order and consider changing the minimum-post restrictions on NCW. It seems to me that someone who'll go to the trouble of registering and posting a hello to the Welcome thread might be actively looking for a place to hang their ideological hat - one that isn't Stormfront or VNN or Liberty Forum. This place.
It also makes sense to me that the majority of newbies/lurkers would arrive here more eager to contributre to NCW threads than most of the other categories here, given that it represents the OD 'hook' that sets us apart....and that we're waist-deep in a disastrous war engineered by neos. I hate to think we're losing people we ought to be cultivating....
Another thought: $1800 gets us a full page ad, for three months, in the Free American.
This would boost our numbers significantly, though at the risk of altering the character of the board.
It's sold all over Austin - I've seen it at Barnes and Noble, Borders, Bookstop, and Head Shops in the area. It's significantly easier for me to find FA here than it is to find a copy of the American Conservative.
Plus, FA runs Sobran, Gordon Thomas, etc. Their news articles, month to month, parallel our own - Makow, etc.
We should discuss it first, and then maybe - our first fundraiser?

Great idea. I'm on board.
