An international fugitive accused of arranging pedophile parties in Mexico, where clients paid to have sex with children as young as 6, has been arrested in Chandler.
U.S. marshals in Phoenix apprehended Jean Succar Kuri, 59, during a traffic stop Thursday after setting up surveillance on a house owned by a friend in the 1100 block of West Barrow Drive.
Kuri, a Mexican national living in California, where he owned restaurants, has been the focus of a manhunt since October, when authorities in Quintana Roo filed multiple charges against him for sexual abuse of minors.
"We've been tracking this guy pretty hard," said David Gonzales of the U.S. Marshal's Service. "This is the kind of guy we put a priority on. Anybody who would prey on innocent children, we consider scum."
On Friday, officials from Mexico met with Kuri, who has not made any statements. Authorities said he did not have incriminating evidence with him when he was arrested. His friend was not charged.
"This was a high-priority case for the Republic of Mexico because of the victims and the types of clientele they were attracting for sex parties," Gonzales said. "These were people who were coming from all of the world to have sex with children."
Kuri allegedly was hosting parties in Cancun and other places. Officials say he might have victimized as many as 20 kids and once purportedly attempted to force a 9-year-old boy to have sex with the boy's 8-year-old sister.
The children came from poor families. According to authorities, Kuri told one parent that he was unable to have a daughter of his own and offered to provide the child with an education and better life.
When he was done with the child, he returned her to the family, provided them with a payoff and threatened them into silence, authorities said.
Kuri was booked into the Maricopa County Jail. He likely will be extradited to Mexico.

I've been telling anyone who will listen about the plague from the south for years, and, up until about two years ago, was constantly hooted down as a rediculous alarmist with no grip on reality. Now that it is, literally, too late, [I]some[/I] folks are starting to listen, but the conversations are always hushed and take place after a quick look to see if anyone is near that can overhear.
We are living in a very strange time. We are [I]supposed[/I] to be living in the freest, most "tolerant" of nations in the history of the world, yet we constantly look over our shoulders to see if anyone is around before we voice our opinion, lest we be fired, thrown into jail and charged with a hate crime or persecuted as racist. A shame, this [I]used[/I] to be a country where you could hold and voice any opinion you wanted. Now it resembles the Soviet Union of the late 1960's, where if you said what you were thinking, they came for you in the middle of the night.
I, for one, am tired of having my conversations at little above a stage whisper.

Believe me, I do. And I have paid the price. I have been labelled a bigot, racist, Nazi.. pick a name, I got more. All for wanting to live in a country where you keep what you earn, live amongst your own kind if you wish, do as you wish with your own property (without [I]permission[/I] from any government entity or paying rent on legally deeded property in the form of extraconstitutional "property taxes"), voice your opinion without fear of retaliation or own what you wish (again, without any government GS-5 or -7 giving you [I]permission[/I] to own it).
We are living the dream of the Soviets. Tell everyone that our country is free, get them to believe it, repeat it, and, so long as they are not [I]too[/I] inconvenienced by the gradual erosion of the rights they have, awarded just by drawing breath, or by the intrusion of the 'Gubmint' into our lives, they just go on bleating that 'we are free'.

Is anyone sure this hopefully soon-to-be-dead degenerate is actually a Mestizo? His name sounds more, frankly, Jewish, to me....perhaps I'm just seeing Jews everywhere, but I live in California and I've never met a Mexi named "Jean." And "Succar Kuri" sounds positively Levantine to me.
