I had the unfortunate honor of having to have seen a commercial for the Air Force's 1903-2003 Centennial tonight. The commercial shows clips of the Air Force in chronological order. When they cut to WWII with a newspaper flipping back-and-forth reading "Germany Surrenders" with a caption that read "For Those Who Freed The Oppressed", you knew what was coming. The comes a black Air Force man, hence the expected cliche "For Those Who Broke Barriers" as a caption, to a couple of broads going into a plane and sitting in a classroom which read "For No Barriers" (or something like that). Yes, this commercial was just another p.c. load of turd that should remind us again of what has become of our military and our country.
