(since i am afraid of infringing on Copyright, i am putting only the link up, very short article)
Upshot of Article...we are standing on an incredibley SHAKY fiscal foundation.. And of course ALL the politicians will ignore this...Within a couple of years U.S. (Inc. and subsidiaries) net fianicial obligation to the rest of the world could equal 40% of its TOTAL economy.
I guess it is TOTAL economy instead of GDP..because they are including the government sector which is over 1/3 of the workforce (if you add up all workers in the federal ,state and local levels...) and contributes absoutely zilch to GDP.
