While flipping through the TV channels earlier today, I came across a segment of "Good Morning America" which showed all of the famous people who had passed on this year. While watching some of the faces and names pass by, they showed Strom Thurmond but the caption read "Strom Thurman . No typographical errors were evident among the other names. Another thing I noted was when former Atlanta mayor Maynard Jackson was shown, his caption read "First Black Mayor Of Atlanta", instead of "Former Mayor Of Atlanta". If that wasn't enough, GMA's co-host is none other than the smug Robin Roberts, former sports newscaster on ESPN. She is the one who publicly said she couldn't bear to see the Confederate flag on display anywhere, and hosted "black history" events on ESPN.
