The Enticement of the Occult Bishop Alexander Mileant
"Presently, great popularity is being gained by the essentially occult New Age movement, which has incorporated into itself many of the more ancient occult teachings. In addition, a number of contemporary sects and cults have either originated through the influence of the spirits or carry within themselves elements of the occult and make use of occult practices. Among them we should count: the Anthroposophical Society, the American Meditation Society, the Bahaââ¬â¢i Faith, the Children of God (Family of Love), Christian Science, the Church of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons), the Eckankar movement, the Universal Society of Hare Krishnas, the Rosicrucian Fellowship, the Self-Realization Fellowship, the Spiritualists National Movement, the Theosophical Society, the Transcendental Meditation movement, the Unification Church, the Vedanta Society, the Watchtower Society (Jehovahââ¬â¢s Witnesses), Zen Buddhism ââ¬â to name just a few."

People that get involved in the occult are usually pretty bored. Bored with whatever in life isn't giving them the latest thrill. Rarely will you see an adult over 50 involved in the "occult"
If they are, they're just plain weirdos.

Yes, "the occult" is what they called science bck in the old days when priests controlled what people could think. The truth-scales tipped on this one a good time ago. Its on the side of those on the list (add: alchemy, astroastrology, objective esoteric psychology, among others.....)
The attempt to silence the truth is what Dostoievsky wrote the Grand Inquisitor scene in The Brothers Karamazov to illustrate. Use of names like "occult" to put down the unknown and unexperienced is jewconjeezushit.
