Anyone like Sarah Brightman? I think she's cool. They play her on PBS once a year during the fund raising drive.

Her new album Harem gets boring during the second half, but the third song is her best ever.

Yes I like her singing. My mother is the one who got interested in her.

I recommend her 1993 album, DIVE. It's more of a straight pop album than other things I've heard from her. I agree that HAREM is a dull offering.
However, I always recommend her album cover photos.

Sarah Brightman!
That name takes me back a few years, to 1978 in fact when she was a dancer with the raunchy "Hot Gossip" dance troupe on British TV's top rated "Kenny Everett Show" (For your information a madcap, zany British comedian in the mould of Benny Hill, who was gay and died of AIDS). I believe she realeased a single called "I lost my heart to a starship trooper", and she married the composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber ?

I had no idea she was that old!!!!!!!!!! I thought she was early 30's.
Are you sure she was a dancer? I looked up a Sarah Brightman biography and it says she was lead singer of a band called "Hot Gossip"

Ah, the Kenny Everett Show - "All in the best possible taste!" :pimp:
I remember the 'band', they were a greatly 'sexed-up' version off Pan's People.

heritagelost,
I thought she was younger too, before read her biography on her site after you started this thread. She was born in 1960.
Did anyone see the program PBS ran on her new ablbum Harem?

Yeah I saw it. They only play Sarah Brightman during their fundraisers. The videos were cool.
